    Imho bases are overestimated and kind of a game breaker - Look at Overpoch nowadys: Everybody got a bigass base and turns into some kind of loot-goblin. My idea is to have hidden (not lockable) places where u can hide a crate or a briefcase or whatever. For that, all you need is a hole in the ground which suits the need for camoflage since there really is no way to camoflage stuff if vegetation does not render at a certain distance. Just dig!

  7. Here is a suggestion to prevent player base gets toxic as it does right now: We need to be able to report hackers! It makes no sense to message to the forum admins or the devs if we have to provide them the player name and the Steam-ID of a hacker. There is no way to find out such things once you are dead. Hackers right now are one of the most game breaking parts of DayZ. I know there are threads about people calling other people hacker and these threads are going to the graveyard. Fair enough. But we still need some kind of security in here while this new anti-hack engine is still under development - and I am pretty sure it's not getting released within the next year. Also I am not talking about exploiting glitches like unlimited-ammo-glitch or stuff like that! Please reconsider the priorities and give us something to hold on to!
  8. yep, it would take some work i suppose but anything would be better than the actual way where you have to get an unknowns player steam id before the admins take any action. That's never gonna happen.

    whoa, that's almost the whole internet :o My steam just updated 1.3 GB this morning but i am not sure if that's because of the last exp patch or just because i didn't play for a week or so...

    that's exactly the point - i can't tell... Since they keep spreading their information all over the place i always get the feeling that i am missing stuff... Such as 'will there be a fix for the latest game-breaking changes and if so, when?'

    any news anywhere? sorry for asking that stupid question but i really refuse to search the whole internet just because they seem not to be able to accumulate their information within this 'OFFICIAL FORUM' (that really annoys the freaking hell out of me)
  17. These questions are making me stay awake at night: How will the zombies be like when one day everything is nice and settled? I mean when and how exactly will they respawn? will it be like in dayz when they spawn as soon somebody gets in range of a town or a certain area which will let enemies know that you are closeby? or like how they spawn right now, basically out of nowhere, sometimes even point blank in front of your face? does the number of spawning zombies depend on the amount of players in a certain area or town? If so, how will that affect ones effort to play stealhy? what will the aggro-behavior be like? Will they be "aggrod" by noise? line of sight? if so, how far? by shots? by smell? smell of blood maybe, or even by smell of fear and stress or even by the general unhygienc circumstances of some players? So that some player will aggro zombies easier than others? what happens to dead zombies? (lol, kind of a logical conundrum, isnt it?) will they be lootable? can u catch diseases? will they despawn? will they be movable? like being able to drag them on to a pile and burn em all? will there be different kinds of zombies? like some moving in hordes and some being all by themselfs and therefor more sneaky? will there be mutated ones like in Resident Evil or will they all be the same like in The Walking Dead More questions to follow.   19. hey, since 0.47 i am having issues with my mouse. Every time i press RMB my crosshair (Ironsight) starts to move a little inch randomly. So, whenever i have something in my crosshair and press right mouse button, the scope will suddenly jump an inch or so. Also i feel "holding breath" has absolutely no effect for me. Weapon sway seems to be so high, even when prone and breathing calmly Whats going on? how can i fix my mouse issue?

    hey, why does it say "0.48" in top right corner of my stable version? (It's like that since 0.47 was pushed to stable as far as i recall) Did i miss an update? Where are the update notes?
