I actually agree with most of what this guy is saying. You folks would do well to disentangle yourselves from the constant attacks and maybe look at both what has worked and what hasn't. Dean consistently overcommitted to certain concepts, was overly optimistic on what could or couldn't be achieved, and very often came off as a bit self important for a person who has never published a game or worked on something from start to finish. His greatest accomplishment, the MOD, was corrected and done better by other modders. He had great ideas and introduced a truly amazing concept. Lets not get too much further than that though.

I am a sixth grade school teacher, but I am also a butcher. You can get meat off with something as crude as an axe. Hell, clear the pelt and you can strip muscle groups with your hands. But those perfectly trimmed and cut strip steaks require a nice knife and a steady hand.

Come on guys, don't you get tired of raging over the same things? How boring would the game be without bandits, snipers, and KOS players? We need all types for a health community.

Well they will put it on another gun, so it isn't like the sniper player will disappear. But otherwise, so what? Have gun, Kos. Without the sniper hiding in the woods, we won't have that prickly paranoia when we cross a field. I love it. I hate getting shot, but so what, that's the game.

What would I need to do to get white listed? I pretty much RP all my characters. I change the name and style after each death.

I found a truck in Novaya, fueled it up In Toponliki and raced back to the middle/eastern region after my dalliances at NWAF. Lefty isn't one to die for kicks and all I saw through my binocs were folks shooting each other!

Private and public servers have different character data bases. 1st and third person server do as well. Stick to 1/3rd public servers.

I wanted to say hello to the military geared player who burst forth from the Vybor jail 10 feet in front of me around 8am this morning. I had my shot gun on him but Lefty don't play that way. I nearly called out bit by the time I made that choice he was already quite a distance away and I assumed he would shoot me (having only a shotgun out I didn't like my chances). I lost track of him at the wall on the west side of the base. Still scared the hell out of me! Look both ways before leaving a base!

Currently, gear and guns don't feel the need to obey the laws of physics! That dude in the picture would likely be doing Marty McFly hover boarding action after leaving the ground like that!

Just give us a bike dammit! Not the all terrain super bikes of Epoch, but one that can motor along on the roadways and do okay on the trails! PLEASE!
