So with all the constant complaints about hackers, and ninja magic teleporters, and fighting X Men, I figured I would share my story: Picture this: In Berezino, I am making my way from the train station up towards the Hospital before heading out west towards the Stary's when I heard Mosin fire coming from the buildings south of Tank Square. I made my away around and finally pinpointed the source. There was a player shooting the construction site from the two story green building near the southern water fountain. As I approached, I drew my .357 (I had that and a B29 - I had just given my M4 to a guy at the lumber yard) and moved to the corner. Suddenly a man with an M4 magically passed through the wall above me, walking on the air about twenty feet out, then teleported back through the wall. I immediate knew I was dealing with evil hackers. But I wasn't afraid, as long as I was careful, their sky walking, wall clipping, teleporting magic would be undone by magnum fury. I raced through the front door and hid beneath the stairs. I waited patiently until the M4 player raced down the stairs and out the door. I ran out and aimed, firing six rounds into his back. He completely ignored them. I was obviously dealing with the Anti-bullet hack. I turned and raced up to the second floor, speed loading the magnum as I ran. As I came into the upstairs room, I found a geared mosin player in the corner. At close range, I dumped six rounds into him. With a flash, he vanished, appeared to my left, fired and broke my leg. I rolled into the hall, drew my B29, and fired both shots as he came out, but his hacks made him immune. He finished me. So unfair. Such powerful hacks are game breaking.

I am positive that there is hacking. Do I think it is common? Not in the least. Looking at the number of people screaming hack compared to the number of people with over a hundred hours of play who have never seen it, the VAST majority of cases were people think they are seeing hackers is most likely the unstable mess that is the alpha. When you have thread after thread of people claiming hacks, it is ridiculous. How saying hacks are incredibly rare makes someone a fanboy, I am not really sure. By playing this game, aren't we all fans?

After 150 hours I finally found my long range scope.

I logged out with pristine pants, logged in an hour later... ruined. Doesn't happen often, but my group has seen it a couple times. Ruins everything in the pockets too.

Skipping around then failing to hit you from point blank? Desync.

Yeah, he was moving in the second floor, but was walking through the sky to me. Nothing but desync. People seem to think that in a game were players can barely move, people can teleport around with pinpoint accuracy within the same area. Well there are times when the desync is the cause of strange occurrences.

There is a difference between lag and the ninja teleport hacks people keep claiming. I think I was quite out of sync. When I am seeing people float through the sky, it pretty much seals it. Hacks are the easy excuse.

If you want to, you can live forever. Low to mid pop servers, stick to the woods. Only hit the quiet towns, etc. there isn't a significant challenge outside of other players. Now if you say you have lived that long while also killing one hundred men, that's something to brag about.

Really though, you can't really get mad when the lag gets you. It isn't anyone's fault really!

I know Boular, it was a bad joke. Everyone assumes these people are using super powered hacks. My sarcasm was obviously not coming through!

I am at 150+ hours and not a single case of hacking that isn't more easily explained away as lag and desynch.

Well I don't know. Sharing info on where you have been or where players might be is nice. Honestly, how often, unless you are freshly spawned, do you really NEED what another player might have other than a gun? Food is so common currently that you just don't need to offer much more. I always ask if someone needs anything, but rarely do they.

I am at around the same amount of time. If I wanted to just pop folks, there are better games for that.

I don't have mine right now, I lost it in a bush! But on my back, using 3PP, it looked like the holes were running down the sides.

Looking at it in game, I thought the holes run horizontalally.

Don't even need to do that. Approach the situation from a position of power then gauge the person. Don't hesitate to shoot though.

Wear something mostly civilian and not one of those stupid masks.
