KoS A FEW IDEAS OF MINE

I say this as a member of the NRA and Gun Owners of America. Gun death statistics have absolutely no relation to what I said or raynor009 replied. The news networks do run many stories collaborating what we both said. No one said death rates in DayZ:SA was equivalent to real world. While the rest of your comment I do agree with I would add that a reward mechanic for co-op play would be genuinely good for the overall KoS issue.

Please for the love of god don't add "Sanity."

Bandit Definition: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bandit Real Historical Bandits: http://www.oddee.com/item_96687.aspx Sanity is a factor in real life. So, it wouldn't be a game "gimmick". Please stop being snide and understand you don't know everything. No one does... While I'm not for sanity (aka: a punishment system). I am pro co-op encouragement via a rewards system.

KoS A FEW IDEAS OF MINE

I'm sorry but I heavily disagree. KoS is a factor in realism. In real life people kill people, with no remorse, for the items they possess all the time and you don't get to respawn from that one. Instead let's support a reward system that heavily encourages co-op.

Lets talk Hero's, Bandits, and Humanity

Actually it doesn't make me or anyone else feel safe. It is a means to encourage co-op playing. Even heroes can turn on you or set you up. Hell, I've done that many times in mod. There would be guys pking and trying to troll folks on the server I played. You didn't lose humanity for killing bandits so I'd hunt them down. You can have both your cake and eat it too with a hero/bandit system. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't something the majority would enjoy.

Lets talk Hero's, Bandits, and Humanity

A hero/bandit system is nice. I like an easily identifiable means of trust. As for identifying them I'm not sure what would work well enough to make most happy. I'd use an armband system that persists through clothe changes. Say a medic armband for hero and nazi band on opposite arm for bandit? Maybe with camo gear being the only thing that can cover it? No perks should be given but a rewards system for helping should. There will always be trolls that only want to pk everyone regardless of perks. EDIT: Spelling
