    Adjustments to fall damage needed

40 feets ? that's 13 meters almost a 3 storey building. Maybe they are trained to minimize the damage on impact. but there is no way it is something they could do voluntarily as the risk of broking something is very high.
  2. Yeah the vanilla ARMAII inventory management system is really fucked up. Especially regards to bags and dropping loot. the ACE2 mod did a great work around with bags and seems to work much more reliably. Also it offers the possibility to acces someone else inventory directly , without risking losing some item by dropping it to the ground. It would be great if dayZ implemented such system. untill then I recommend that when transferring items between players , to put them in the others players bag , it seems to work much more efficiently. Also never try to move an object to a full bag or full inventory this seem to be the number 1 cause to disappearing objects.

    DayZ Map Question

Real protip : the markers appears only for the people in the channel you're set to , so if you switch to group channel and then set the marker , only you will see it ( as you're alone in your group).

    Holster pistol

Until then you can just open your inventory with G , and then close it. When you do this your player keeps his pistols in a upward position until you click or go prone.

Poll: Do you play at night?

I think lots of poeple who complains about nights haven't played enough during night time , and also have not spent enough time outside at night in the country. you know when you are away from any major town and there is a cloudy sky , it can get very dark. ARMA simulates the night quite well IMO , some night are very dark , but most of the time it's OK and you can see at a few tenths of meters without light. Also you should learn to use flare to light your way. Of course don't throw them were you are going or keep them near you, throw them far so you can see how the situation is before going in and it will eventually light up anyone trying to get near you , while you stay hidden in the shadows.
  6. YES , but new player should have have way to get rid of a lone infected running after them otherwise it would be unplayable.
