How I have stayed alive for 6 weeks on a single character

One thing that comes to mind is also that never play alone. My character has now been alive for about 2 weeks when i mostly play with friends, usually 1 or 2 friends and me roam the coast. We like to help freshspawns and check out what electro got for us. -
The Churches in the various cities would propably serve as a good marketplace, since there is only one entrance and it's fairly easy to guard.

I think this community will get better when it matures, the worst trolls will eventually stop playing because they can't handle that this game is far from ready.

These ideas are very good, this game needs more interaction between the characters than a twelve year old screaming in his mick "Friendly, Friendly, plz dont shoot". Hopefully this "intuition" is an idea that can be added to the game (like Tactical Soldier said, I'm not a programmer either, so I have no idea how hard this would be to create). -

That is the idea, then your account could stay anonymous. It could be optional, like in real life, you don't tell everyone your name. Yea didn't know that, why I posted this:) but good to know it's in dayzmod, maybe it comes to SA also. -
I have been thinking about a simple idea, I dont know if it's simple to develop to the game but anyhow. Every player could choose if his/her ingame name would be visible to other players(hovering above your head or something). This would maybe make you appear more trustworthy. Then other players could "Tag" if the player is Friendly or unfriendly or hostile, depending on what he does to you when you meet. For example I see a guy who comes at me, I dont see his ingame name, I'm cautious, maybe I don't want to go near him. Or another example I see the name but he shoots me at sight, I tag him hostile. Then next time I see him I could avoid him or shoot him at sight. (Sorry for my English)
