If there's a vast array of military hardware in the final version of DayZ, I hope they're scarce as hell. I would classify myself a casual player (meaning I don't dream about playing DayZ at night, don't play more than 2 hours a day and certainly don't begrudge others their chosen playstyle) but if you think littering the landscape with all kinds of military hardware is going to make this game more 'difficult' or 'authentic' then you're dreaming. Weapons that are high-powered (I.E. full auto/military style since many hunting rifles are high powered) should be a real prize to find and posses and makes the possessor really want to stay alive since it's so difficult to find.

Since you're a fellow Canuck, I will let you know that most ISPs in this country are actively engaged in throttling. Do you stream lots of media as well? I personally haven't experienced this issue, with regards to DayZ, but I do experience it from time to time when streaming Netflix or even downloading large files.

Go play Breaking Point then. No one is forcing you to play DayZ SA. I will answer your two crappy questions though: 1) I have no idea what state the ARMA3 engine was in when DayZ SA development started. Is the ARMA 3 Dev Team larger than DayZ SA? Who cares what anyone thinks the dev team SHOULD have done, because what's done now is done. It won't be changed. (Engine wise) 2) Enough of what? What did they start with? A hybrid ToH/ARMA2 engine? I don't get what you're driving at here. Do you want better gfx? better AI? I can't figure out what it is you're complaining about, but you're definitely trying to complain about something.

I can only echo the sentiments of others. If you encounter this behaviour, you should report the server ASAP. If someone wants to play fast and loose with the TOS they should be punished. Let them come here and whine and cry, it will expose them for the scum that they are.
