Never in all my time playing have I ever seen a Mosin in any vehicle, same goes with the cow pen barns although I've heard enough reports of them being there I still check every time I go past. Being my gun of choice I've looked, oh how I've looked. The long barns with nothing inside found a few there, as well as the police stations, school buildings and the shipwreck north of Barazino. Rumor has it top level of the hospital but that area is too hot to be going in unarmed. edit: found one in the stairwell of the hospital and the tech building roof, tried to take a screeny didn't work cos I'm kinda special

My thought's exactly, I spawned twice in/near electro and was gunned down in under 10 steps. Guess bandits aren't what they used to be huh, well on the upside I also noticed no nearly as much suicide on the east coast. So it's got that going for it which is nice.

Yup, if you lay on the ground in the prone position, and use (i forget) either q + e or a + d your character will struggle in them keep it up and they will come off

I've never seen the kick/ban for KoS actually applied on those servers, The main difference is it's a lot easier to meet people and have a more chilled game experience, the overall reduction in KoS on the airfields/military bases is less then 1%

Re-spawn timers?! this ain't WarZ folks and that idea can fuck right off, Forcing players to re-spawn in the same area that's not such a bad idea, the east coast is just a field of dead bodies, hell I went there today to help the freshies, seems the only help they wanted was a bullet in the skull. Even ran into the same guy twice, the second time he said "oh hey you again" I just cut him down and as I ran past his lifeless body heard a heartfelt "Thank you" So either the timer as OP suggested or remove the other spawn points. Maybe this will become less of a "problem" in later builds, I've only spawned on the south coast once, and Benz is almost always ready for looting and almost no chance of getting shot. Maybe if they dropped a fire station in the town or something it would be more attractive.

Don't think of it as gearing up, because you'll lose your gear to players, character wipes and ladders. Learning the map is the best thing to do know where the good stuff and everything else will sort itself out. P.S; Any airfield/military installation is a definite KoS zone, towns can be dangerous. Finally if players don't answer you through direct chat or suddenly go silent, shoot them, run like hell or die like a dog.

Yep and it's a square map so about the same east-west, can't wait till we have another mode of transport to hurry things along and announce my arrival at NWAF to every survivor with a mosin....

Okay I just looked for a half hour and couldn't find it.... There is a image somewhere on the internet which shows how tall a person is in the scope (maginified) and what range they are standing at, It would take some practice but once done you'd be zeroing on the fly which would be amazing. (my first sniping attempt was on a zombie, I spent about 10-15 rounds before having a good look and finding it was 500 m away not 800)

Personally I've found that "server hoppers" only search a small area ie in NWAF it's Control tower, fire station and the other building. Even with these building stripped of loot I managed to scavenge a M4 and all pristine attachments. As suggested by others there are plenty of places inland that have a ton of loot in them. Also there are a few military buildings that I regularly visit which are a little out of the way and get looted only once in a blue moon.

I've only once spawned on the south coast, every other spawn has been in or just south of Solnichny, theres a factory just north of it and I often find corpses littering the ground under anything high. Don't know why everyone is so attached to Electro or Cherno, they are the only places I've been shot outside of airfields.

I melee Zombies every time I respawn, 1. Aim for the head 2. They will fall either on their front or back, Back = Dead, Front=knocked down 3. If they are just knocked down, Get the free hits in. 4. Circle
