Honestly I'd be inclined to just press the play button again, I also have a general rule about staying away from servers name that don't identify who's hosting <server info> Vilayer.com or whoever the GSP is, and obviously play on BE enabled servers only, after that lowest ping, add the good candidates to the fav's list and you should be right.

One of the file's you edit when optimizing you video settings has the IP of the last server you where on.

Agreed rejoining the same server after disconnect is the only time I've encountered the timer. If they did that it would be hilarious, make it coincide with the forum mods going on holiday.. oh the flames the tears.

Weird I've only been spawn killed twice both times from spawning in electro.... Also I'll stay on the coast for a bit if there's food and booty there, usually turns out okay.... usually.

I doubt it, anytime soon maybe in the distant future, the year 2000 but not right now. If they have balanced loot spawning so it's spread "evenly" across the map, honestly having all the survivors spawn on the coast is something I like, the struggle to find food and other resources forces players off the coast, I was in electro and it was a "freshie fest" and not the kind from the adult store. I booked it out of there and managed to survive reasonable nicely. I feel the reason your experiencing a bambi fragfest on the coast is because and why people are complaining there isn't enough food is due to everyone being too scared to leave the coast.

Some people don't talk, although that's usually followed by a fire/axe/fist fight, I honestly have difficulty and everyone just sounds north american, likely because I didn't grow up here and lack of exposure, on the upside it make me standout a bit more.

This is a much better post then what I expected, Personally I like the idea of developing familiarity, in order to identify them for what you've seen them do in the past, in saying that, while I'm no dev it does appear to be a difficult idea to implement, but would be cool to have in game.

The server numbers will be bumped up when the next patch hit, the experimental has been sitting at 64 players for the last couple of days. They are working on loot respawn expect to see it in the near future (likely be testing on experimental after this patch goes live or the one after)

To the guy on the experimental server, NWAF in the green netting tower on the north end about 15 mins after restart. I was in the other green tower, being the server has recently restarted I assumed the place was going to be a magnet, I myself had run over 3 km to get there, after finding disappointment and broken dreams my first run thru. I was only there for one reason to find me a LRS I was carefully checking the area when I saw a zombie run wildly into the tent area, shortly after a second began following you. You entered the base of the structure and just stood there, I did consider taking the other zombie out for you, but this is the airfield and you had a gun. Not to mention you'd been just standing there I'm guessing messing with your inventory for a few seconds. I dropped you then took out the zombie, being that I hate to kill someone for no reason, I climbed down, at this point I figured anyone nearby would have heard the shots and more gunfire would make it sound like a serious firefight, perhaps enough to deter investigation. Then I heard you on direct saying you are unconscious and begging me "please I'll give you anything just revive me" "help please" your clan tag was =DiG= I believe, I'm also sure that I was free to take whatever I choose from you body, you didn't need to be alive for that to happen. I looked at your inventory and took the saline bag and the pristine LRS you where carrying, I applied the saline bag to you, but I don't typically carry epi pens after you stopped responding I took one more look at the blaze 95 rifle and glossed over your stuff before leaving. I did try to bring you back to life, sorry it didn't work out, thank you for the scope. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ To the person who shot me with a sawn off shotgun on the outskirts of Krasnostav, about 1 1/2 hours after server restart on the experimental, I hope you enjoy the mosin and LRS, just be aware that everyone who has had possession of that scope has died, that thing is cursed and I have come back from beyond the grave to warn you, ditch it now before it's too late.

Only allowed to use alt to free look if they switch to 1PP, lol the outrage when you take away the ability to look thru walls and the like. You sir, are a genius.

Those Self storage shed's I find are mini gold mine's good source of PU Scope's, bipods and strangely there's usually a can or two of food. I found my LRS in NWAF shortly after restart, unfortunately the "survivor" who "bought" it to me didn't make it tho, almost felt guilty taking a single item, but then.. it was the the reason I was there so I left once I had it.

Your too funny I loled "grown" "adults" this is de interwebs... I was on 3PP server over the weekend cos that was the one with the most people in experimental, and it's out standing being able to look thru wall's and out on to fields, I don't know why anyone would risk getting banned when the hacks are in game and free. But as no-one else has bought it up, this is alpha and things are gonna be screwy, but idgaf cos I'm back to 1PP next login. Don't know why people keep thinking things need to be fixed but considering I giggled like a school girl at the OP I'm thinking he's just sick of it too.

Epi pens and morphine fit much better in the 1st aid kit, Yesterday I had a hunters pack and was only using about half the space mostly because I was collecting SKS and Mosin ammo plus a magnum and sawnoff. and I really like the couriers backpack but surviving without a pack at all would be interesting.

Yeah I you know I've met a lot of cool fun and creepy people in this game it was super hard I had to press my direct chat button, speak to them act like I had some idea of what I'm doing..... Question how big to you propose this safe zone be is it a circle or square, what do you think would be suitable dimensions for this?

This EXACTLY, use the in game radios if you want to communicate the position of the current safe zone to other survivors, asking dev's to setup npc's and the like is lazy in my opinion @cstew84 I understand what your getting at but imho the constant internal battle of whether or not to trust someone is a core part of what makes this game great.

While I still disagree as a whole that is the most logical and well though out implementation I've seen. My question is if there are so many people who want safe zones then why don't, using the methods you have described here, players just do this themselves a group of 6-8 armed people providing over watch, allowing players to come in and trade for supplies and what ever else they require?

Most likely, there is no patch note's for the update that's on experimental right now as they are still playing with it and haven't finalized the content.
