Where did you learn to swing an axe? But seriously, your right checking the area even those with infected in them has saved me, running in yolo has killed me. One point I'd like to bring up is the planned reduction of gun spawns and increase in infected, plus an increase in improvised weapons. KoS will forever be a part of this game even after completion, wonder too close to a clan base, dead, run around like a lunatic on the airfield, dead. Addressing KoS does not need to happen, as it's already becoming clear they are spreading loot out and forcing players to wonder far and wide in order to find sufficient supplies (as noted when running about 5hrs after restart on exp) I feel any artificial measures wouldn't help, the "Aggressor hit box" won't solve anything as the booty on a player (treasure if it's a female) will already be ruined currently, shooting someone does the same thing that your suggesting theres a good chance that all of the gear will be ruined. Either way the body might as well have despawned cos it's predominantly useless at this point. It is my thinking that what your suggesting is pretty much already in the game.

Ah this is missing the lone wolf players, I'm a survivor but I'm geared, if I kill it's a situational decision, hell if I think I'll get out of a bandit encounter in one piece I'll co-operate but if it's clear I'm not going to survive, I'll run, shoot, axe or anything to either get away or take someone with me, enjoy my ruined gear fucker's. I'll help where I can but if I'm near a military building I won't hesitate to shoot or slink away, depending on the situation, I take pity on survivors and help where I can from guiding them to food and gear or putting them out of their misery if the situation calls for it. If I end up in a group the encounter won't start with "friendly" it will be a simple "hello" with the two of us trading information to assess where the best place to go next. I am a little too trusting but if you say something that I believe is suspicious then I won't hesitate to shoot you in the back or ditch you when the opportunity comes up. -

The Mosin must be manually reloaded, there is no clip/mag/speedloader for it -

I would agree with you but some people piss their pants in rage if you say this is a survival simulation and not COD end of the world edition. yes the game is on the easy side right now, I survive fine on a 40/50, but I now know what the edible berry bushes look like. -

Really not sure what your point is in this post, it's pretty much just you describing the state of the game as it. But then requesting the developer's to stop sleeping and cram more features in. What I don't quite follow is you complain about people saying it's alpha but take issue with it being in alpha, to me it seems your trying to rule out anyone who would criticize you for criticizing the alphaness of this game. Expecting thing's to work FLAWLESSLY well I think that shows exactly how little you understand the development process, I don't know where you live, but I want you to go to the firing range and get your hand's on a gun you've never fired and get all bulls eye's, also I think you should join every major sports team because you'd make a killing being able to do everything perfectly the first time. The experimental is exactly what you described, do you wonder why they are taking so long to put the current patch onto stable, because they have found that previous patches weren't on experimental long enough, and players aren't reporting bugs as they should (assumption after trying to find stuff in the bug tracker) which is making the dev's job harder, if you'd like the game to work perfectly or as close as they can get it, then use the bug tracker and file those reports I understand your frustration, there is a lot lacking in this game, but that's not a concern of mine, it doesn't bother me because I love the content already in and after seeing the things planned for this game I'm feeling pretty damn good about it, when I get bored of it I simply do something else.

I lick windows and approve this idea, no really this has some merit and I'd like to see it hashed out, currently the portable radio's are useless and I'd love to see something that would cause them to be a useful item.

Blaze can only be reloaded using "r" if you have the speed loader which OP has, did you check to see the speed loaders where loaded, I believe they still have the picture's of bullets when empty. Other wise try unloading the speed loader's and reloading them. -
Also the current experimental has runs a lot better, not sure how stable runs but it was terrible and experimental has a large improvement.

Okay this is gonna come out a little disorganized cos I'm Half asleep but... From what I understand of your post your concerned that the systems are going to become too complicated, life in DayZ is supposed to be difficult, hard to survive. Now this is where it get's a little dicey, because my opinion and belief about what dean is doing is different from everybody else's as far as over all vision unless someone would link it for me? But I'm going for the life is dangerous in Chenurus, some people work as search and rescue (irl) because being lost/stuck/injured in the wood's etc can prove fatal however there is people how have the knowledge that significantly improves their chances of survival in such situation's. While I have no numbers being caught out unprepared kills a good amount of people. In DayZ with the systems that are being implemented, I'm of the opinion that it's going to contribute to the "end game" while this isn't a fantasy MMO lack of end game kill's those game faster then drinking disinfectant. If your long term survival is something you've spent week's on your gonna be extremely attached to your character it will add a value that currently isn't there right now, currently death is an inconvenience and regearing while it's slowly taking longer, isn't too much of a hassle. Having friend's who have the knowledge and equipment to enable the long term survival of a group would be very valuable, break a limb and no-one's got morphine or a splint wishing your medic friend was online cos he carries a ton of that knida stuff. Complexity is good imo, but I draw the line at having to dig a hole and drop a duce. -

Loot tables odd after last patch? Confirm?

Which garages are you talking about the big one's that have stairs, or the one's around the houses cos they stopped spawning a while ago. The tent's stopped in the same patch, there's a couple of building's that started spawning loot recently as well, I feel your pain, it took me hours to find an axe spent most of the time with the baseball bat. The loot system has had several change's recently, I was on when there where multiple resets in a row and the low red restaurants would only spawn loot in two of the locations possible in the front room, I believe this is paving the way for loot respawn, where I expect to see even lower loot levels after restart. edit: found a FXN, mag, flashlight and silencer on experimental about 4 1/2 hours after the server had restarted, silencer doesn't seem to work. While I agree for the most part, my experience is I can't stop tripping over shotguns, mosin's are rare, B95 i thought they weren't but I guess I was just on a lucky streak cos I can't find them now. -
he he I jumped on a 50/64 server about an hour after restart knowing I was going to be a fresh spawn, wanted to see if I could do everything I can and still starve to death, obviously the answer is no even choosing a heavily looted server as a fresh spawn I could still survive just fine. But useless, the only useless things I had on me where can's of food I couldn't open.

Yeap it all depends but generally when a stealth infected jump's me, also had a stealth infected making the gun sound (like punching walls) in NWAF I crapped myself. Finally I stopped leaving my phone on the desktop cos a message or call causes the loudest noise, keep it in my lap now.

Never found any of the bad (blue) one's, But the red one's are how they look in your inventory and the red bush is spot on as well. Matrix reference?

Yeah I used to, but now I live in a city and there ain't none about!!!! Back to berries, there is a ton of the bushes here, all through and around this yard, there is no "pick berries" indicator so you just need to spam the use button at the base of the bush, you don't get them every time and you can pick the same bush more then once, just seems like a 10%-15% of you being successful. If your inventory is full they will spawn on the ground instead, this was on experimental, but seeing as they have been on stable for a bit I'm assuming these are the same aka non-poisonous. Actually threw away tinned food because I needed inventory space and berries provided for me when cans could not HAIL BERRIES!!. Enjoy folks!!
