Maybe playing the game too much? :P
-
Perhaps that is the reason, to reflect the psychological state of a person being in the middle of a zombie-apocalypse.. :P
-
Thats your subjective opinion of which you have the rights to express. However, your message is lost completely, due to lack of reasons other than "it sucks" Please do not post more of these rants, thank you for your fundings, bye.

Got the pulse going for a second yesterday. Was on a hardcore server, 20 people online, started out at night. Ran all the way from Solnichniy to NW of the NW Airfield. It was day when I got there and thought I would eat up and get healthy while taking a break in the forest for the first time in a couple of hours. When healthy, I was out of food and decided to go down to the construction site south of Lopatino to find some and perhaps some ammo for my double-barreled rifle. I was lucky and was going down the stairs from the top floor when I saw an axe lying on the stabled bricks, I've missed on the way up. While checking it out to see if it was in better shape than the current one I had, I got shot down from behind with an M4. When I checked the server lying dead, there was only 3 people online, including myself. Whats the odds for that to happen? :P It just shows that you can never be safe anywhere in Chernarus!

Maybe nerf the healing a little?
[email protected] replied to Karmaterror's topic in General Discussion
No insult, but you're not doing it the right way then. Eat and drink until you're full. -
Seems random. Some times all cars I come across have loot, sometimes there's nothing to be found.

Maybe nerf the healing a little?

From what I've experienced in game, food spawn is reduced as of last patch. -
Ship wants to play a game..
-
I think it's much better now. Before, you had to eat an unrealistic amount of food before getting full. It seems more realistic now, when you have to eat less more often. I also think thats why they have cut down the amount of food-spawns, because you don't need as much. Healthy status doesn't seem to be harder to get than before.

It is? Do you have a link? That's so nice! :)

I've come across M4's, which I for the life of me, couldn't place two bullets in the same spot from 50m. Perhaps it was coincidence, but another M4 I found was way more accurate.

Whats wrong with server hopping?
[email protected] replied to Timecharge's topic in General Discussion
Please explain why you think the one of the two is more legit? Both are ruining the realism that the game is set out to deliver. -
OR a feature which allows you to dig a hole in the ground with the shovel, in which to bury some gear. That would be awesome.
-
So you scout a great sniper spot on low-populated servers and then switch to high-populated ones to get kills. How are you in a position to hate on combat-loggers, when you clearly are exploiting the game yourself?
-
You need .357 revolver ammo for the Magnum.
-
Well, that depends on the setting then. I really don't care how long a distance it renders it, I just think it should be the same for everyone. At least when it comes to the cover, which is essential in these types of games.
-
That exact problem, is a thing that annoys me. It exists in Battlefield 4 as well, and is quite gamebreaking, if you're trying to play stealthy. I think the rendering of grass and other types of cover should be a pre-set tamper-proof setting, so it is the same game (in that regard) for everone playing.
-
Well. I think it should depend on some kind of back-story prior to the zombie apocalypse. The draw-back of the spawn-points being totally random, is that some will just commit suicide and respawn, until closer to the big loot-sites or rendezvous point with friendlies.

DayZ is NOT fun for new players, which makes me worried.
[email protected] replied to Murakamo's topic in General Discussion
It's part of the game. To take it slow, to learn how to navigate, to learn how to survive, to learn to communicate. When not having an in-game map: look it up on the inter-webs. Tell your friend this isn't a game with 3d-spotting and symbols telling him what to do and in which order. Not to criticize the games which have these features. I play Battlefield myself. :) Personally, I think that having to take it slow, make up a plan, make mistakes on the way, is a big part of the overall experience of DayZ. I like it a lot!
