Correct me if I am wrong, but there are currently no shotguns implemented? Just the ammo for it? Reason I am asking is that I find myself picking that stuff up, and I just want to confirm that I dont need it as of yet.

Find an unlooted village with a pub, there is almost always at least a talon bp in the pub (Middle room with the entrance to the loos)

Lots of mags and ammo in baracks as well, don't forget to go prone and check under bunkbeds and also on top of lockers.

Are you actually suggesting that beginners head to either Cherno, Elektro or Belota airstrip first thing???? All those places are just ripe with bandits, as a beginner, prio one is, find some water, find some food, find a melee weapon, head inlands! There are a couple of military bases up north that seldom see any people, since most of them seem to be centered around Belota or the other airfields.

And which part of "Alpha stage" is it that you do not understand?
