I like that "endgame" idea. I started a new character around 1pm today and spawned in the middle of the east coast. Traveled my way through the west to reach (finally) the north west. I had so much fun going through each town and exploring. Fending of Zeds and avoiding other players. It may have took me a few hours of playtime. But i enjoyed it. I dont want to dump all over the random spawn option. But having to actually explore to the west is more challenging, making you have a keen eye.
