Well it seems like an interesting idea. Something good to record. What time would this be as im in britain? If theres room count me in.

All i got from this post was me, me, me, me and me.

I wish i ran into people like this so i could record some decent encounters. All i get is either shot at or a player that i manage to talk down but never anything like this.

The point is to survive and live through interesting stories along the way. Its a sandbox game, do what you want. Dont loot on empty servers, it waters down your experiance. If your gonna talk to someone, do it from a position where you cant be shot. Then make sure they are disarmed, use common sense. With the game being in alpha and many features not currently implemented, it is very easy to survive with a few exceptions. Take this into consideration before you judge the game (its not yet finished). Iv played about 380 hours so far and over 500 in the mod, i can honestly say its the best gaming experience iv ever had despite the frustrating bugs.

Cooking has worked for me about 8/10 times. I watched a video the other day about this, apparently he came to the conclusion that if you can see your breath (server temperature is low) then it takes significantly longer to cook things. Iv not confirmed this but going by my success rate this may well be the case.

Good, holding someone up or a group of people and controlling the situation is more fun and the highest form of skill in this game.

Do you mean actual banditry or KOS? Because actual banditry i would watch. As for editing wise put in the decent meaningful parts. That goes for any video really. If people call you hacker its cus they are jealous. Unless you are a hacker, which i highly doubt. You dont have to be geared up for a good episode. Interaction with other players is great. Team pvp is fine, but like i said earlier, no KOS bullshit. Its boring and thousands of others do it. I do a series too and i started up in January, its hard work getting views and subs. One good place is steam, add your videos there i got tons of views and subs (well tons in my current situation). The guys on these forums are hard to please haha. Why must you even ask this question. The answer is a very simple yes. But you probably knew that before you came here. I hide any and all that i find. If i have no other ammo so be it. The game is pretty fun trying to hide cus you have no ammo.

I play as if it is the apocalypse (surprise surprise guys this is an apocalyptic game, not call of duty). That means i see killing players stupid unless absolutely necessary. The way i see it, humanity is on the brink of extinction. So i talk to people. Trade with them for items, info. Sometimes they end up joining our group. I kill bandits because they are scum (yet to encounter real bandits that hold you up).

I agree, i find more hospital related loot in random buildings that shouldnt really have it than i do in the hospital. All i ever really find in hospital are rotten fruit.

Anyone else notice the Akm seems to be inconsistant with its damage? For example i shot someone from 100 metres away in the side of the chest, blood sprayed he didnt drop. Ok so that was one bullet fair enough. But another time my group started getting shot at so i returned fire at the guy and hit him 5 times in the back and sides as he ran off. I never found a body. How the hell did he not go down? But to put this into perspective, i shot someone in the back once with an m4. Dropped instantly. Anyone else had furstrating moments with AKM? Shame realy cus i love the gun otherwise.

Oh i understand that pristine clothes absorb damage in game. But that shouldnt be the case. Unless you have some form of armour then you shouldnt survive more than 2 bullets to vital areas at close range.

True my dayz skills need work. However my people skills are fine thankyou very much. Unfortunately though many other players arnt. They seem to either be scared to talk and just shoot or shooting is their way of saying hello. I would say about 70% of encounters end on good terms. But their are always people that shoot without thinking. Talking down works with players that are actualy playing the game as it was meant to be played. Some however are hellbent on shooting cus its all they know or because for teh lulz.

Still dont agree with it. I dont go around looking for trouble. I prefer the diplomatic approach when it comes to interaction. But some players are like robots and shoot and refuse to talk. He says its not hard to survive in dayz. Food wise no it isnt. Its too easy, but then he says just dont shoot at anyone. What about those people that shoot at me for no reason?

1. Oh theres some rocks over there let me just go and stand on it to get a decent view of the area.....oh shit im flying in the air. 2. Lets climb this ladder to get a better view....oh shit im dead. 3. Just running through the field minding my own buisiness, oh a zombie from 800 metres away comes running at me and hits me even though its not near enough to me to hit me. Oh unconsious. 4. Running through wilderness guy in bush (sorry robot in bush) shoots me and doesnt speak a word or loot me. 5. Fell off stairs in barn, die instantly. 6. Hacker joins server and hunts down everyone in it. So is this still my fault? I suggest you think about what you say before you let shit come out your mouth and make yourself look stupid.

That doesnt sound right. Your saying that thin fabric "tanks" 7.62 rounds. If thats the case something needs to be done about it.

Call of duty 2 did this before it became the game we know now.
