Fair enough man, but as a youtuber im always looking for footage and in my eyes pvp should always have context behind it. The failed holdup and ambush made the footage better than just a sniper shot to end it there and then.

Yeah he was a great guy, its rare these days. Shame we couldnt save him. Cheers man :)

Im not entirely sure. But just so you know, persistence will be on gone next patch ( which may or may not be out in the next few days) so its pointless having paper. Unless you keep it on you i suppose.

Hey guys, in this video 2 friends and I are in pavlovo and we meet another player. Things soon go down hill as we get ambushed.

So weve all been there, been punched and lost gear. Punched someone and took their gear. Quite honestly its the easy way to gear up. Obviously its partly the victims fault for not paying attention but i also find it to be a bit of a cheap way to play the game. Now im not saying remove it, its basic defence in the early stages. However i think we should encourage players to use an actual weapon. I suggest we allow a chance to break your hand if you punch something hard. This would mean you cant fire a weapon. Or pick up items to use. (They can still be moved into inventory). If you punch someone in the head then you could break your hand and even more chance if they have a helmet. I believe this will make people think twice before they try to one hit k/o you with fists. Dont take out one hit k/o it should still be possible but i think people should maybe find a blunt instrument to do it with if they want any chance of success.

If the state of clothing didn't affect the damage you take i would be quite happy to look shabby and survivory.

They spawn in military barracks, but due to the current loot system its probably gonna be kinda hard to find them. Persistence makes it hard to find loot in high pop areas, so go hunt some tents!

They made them harder but didnt tweak the melee weapons. Its probably not your fault as like i said the crowbar is shocking. Untill you find an axe, just take it slow and easy. Try locking them in rooms.

Crowbar is a pretty rubbish weapon and always has been. Im sure it will be tweaked at some point. I can tell you now though, the zombies are still too easy. You should never be in a position where you can "easily" handle a zombie. The zombies are better than they used to be, harder to kill but able to sneak past though they are still buggy and a bit laggy. Perhaps its desync thats making it hard? I have a fire axe and it took me 2 hits to kill (previous patches it was 1 hit). Zombie aggro range from gunshots is still too low. For now try and sneak past them, watch to see where they are facing and go past when they have their back to you. Did this in vybor and i had to wait about 1 minute while it walked around and finaly looked away.

I see no reason why all 3 couldn't be a possibility.

Please explain how you would stop this? Short answer, you cant. Experienced players have a mental map also, is this considered cheating? There is no way this could be stopped.

Turned to the "dark side"? I have no sympathy. If you really meant what you said about them being robbed of interaction which is a huge part of the game they are not experiencing then you wouldnt have "turned" since you seem to have made quite a passionate post. How many hours in game do you have? Im at about 830 plus 500 of the mod. Do i kos? NO! Learn to deal with people.

Ok so iv been recording Dayz with Dxtory for a year now with the lagarith lossless codec. Today (since the client update) dxtory will no longer record. The fps counter turns orange as if to indicate it is recording but it does not save the file anywhere. I tested dxtory on another game and it records fine. Does anyone have any ideas how this might be fixed? Its quite irritating as dxtory is the only reliable recording software i have that allows audio tracks to be split up. Shadowplay does not have this option yet.

So i started documenting my hardcore characters life. This is (hopefully) the first of many vids to come. Cheers for taking the time to watch guys.
