I play as if it really is the apocalpyse. This means that humanity is on the brink of extinction. Of course this means kos is out of the question but it doesnt mean i wont kill. I class myself as a survivor mostly, not a hero or bandit. On the topic of playstyle shaming, sometimes its justified. Most people play this game as if the objective is to kill kill kill. Im not against killing but would it kill you guys to atleast talk first? Even if its just insults, i dont care. Hate the emotionless, robots that stalk this game. Like people say its a sandbox therefore peoples choice in what they do. But can people be smart about their choices? No for some reason they cant. Many times iv been in a gunfight with someone and they lost when if they had taken the diplomatic approach (or even betrayed later) they would have survived. It seems people go into the beastial, non human mode where all they want is blood blood blood.

Killing players that shoot at me for no reason. Best feeling ever. I don't kill unless i have to and i play the game as if it really is the apocalypse. So when i see people KOSing it really annoys me because i know they are not playing this game as if its the apocalypse (which doesn't make sense because thats what the game is about). So when someone shoots at me for the lulz and i manage to kill them its an amazing feeling.

Feedback about something broken is fine. What most people do on these forums however is whine, complain and scream about how they were killed to bugs and that the game sucks. They completely forget what stage this game is in and word their post as if the game is in its final stage and will never change. Honestly people are so impatient.

A name tag system similar to that in dayz epoch would be welcome. In real life we have faces to go by. Not so in game.

500 + hours in the mod and almost 300 in the standalone. Not once have i ever "broken" and never will i. Its a horrible, stupid way to play and you wont catch me doing it. Guess i have a stronger will than most.

What it tells me that the community is full of entitled muppets. So many people these days are impatient, dont read, complain. Yeah you spent money, buf before you spent your money you were warned of the products current status. Which was not a great status being alpha and all (oh no the A word). If at the end of this year the game has not improved then i fully understand complaints. Btw the "impatient kids" was not a claim, it was a metaphor. Im not sure how you did not pick up on that. What you have to realise is they have rebuild parts of this engine from the ground up. Reality? Seriously you think they took the money and did a runner? That explains the pretty feckin awesome patch that is currently in experimental. Also it does not make sense from a buisiness perspective to take money and run. That is incredibily short sighted. Would destroy reputation for good and dean would deffinately not be able to open a studio of his own. Please think before posting. The only mistake they made was releasing this to the public. Because they are the most ignorant, selfish, greedy and stupid people. I work with customers and boy are they a needy bunch.

Oh one of these again? Not what i wanted to read before work. I would much prefer this game to stay in alpha for 2 years than be rushed out because the community are impatient kids. Too many posts moaning about development here.

There are no friendly servers, they do not exist. Its a shame you havent run into me, im friendly. Although if you dont put your gun down and come at me, you die.

Iv never been robbed but yes i probably would, adds to the immersion. Plus i make a story series on my channel, would suck if i just shot everyone.

Sorry but no subbing from me. The glitching is the main offender here. If you want to be taken seriously dont glitch. Also, try and mix it up a bit. Just shooting everyone is bloody boring.

The community seems to be, atleast from my experiance, is about 70% kos 30% friendly. Now in the mod it was pretty much 95% kos. Wether this has anything to do with my approach to other players i do not know. I deffinately think iv learned alot since the mod so maybe that does factor in. But the main problem is that this is a game. There are no higher things at stake like the survival of humanity. (I prefer to play as if it is at stake). Once you die you respawn and gear up realy qui kly. If there were higher stakes then people would be more inclined to group up but sadly its pretty much impossible to do unless you force this upon people. As much as i would like people to play as if our species was dieing out its not gonna happen. People are dicks in online gaming, very few people have morals online. Which is a shame because its so much more fun than just killing everyone you see.

As the game is at the moment it is pointless to carry bottles. There are no diseases so no point in purifying water. So just drop the bottle, free up some inventory space and drink your fill from ponds and wells. They are everywhere.
