Army zombie!

Yea I like the too, was getting pretty tired of the same looking zombies.

Well I took the pictures with the steam snapshot system, I run the game on very high textures and at 100% resolution, also my video settings had brightness and gamma set to full. That's why the quality is bad.

Sorry I didn't find any other new zombies, I'm gonna post more pictures tomorrow If I'm able to get into the test servers :P

Well killing 5 zombies in a complete darkness with an axe it was pretty hard to tell how many hit's it took, especially when there was 2 army zombies, or 1 army zombie that just got knocked out (by a splitting axe). Also I didn't get the chance to shoot at one because the servers were so laggy every time I got a gun my character was wiped.

If there are 5 servers and probably 10 000 people trying to get in at the same time chances are you will never get online, also when a server says 39/40 and I connect I just get an error message saying can't connect. Well I guess I just have to wait for the patch to come out :p

At the beginning the game was pretty hard because finding weapons and such was a real pain in the ass, but after about 40 hours of playing it all came naturally and getting fully geared up took less than 2 hours. Me and my friends went North a couple of times but after a numerous amount of deaths by ladders and other bugs we gave up and started KoS in Balota, that became boring after a couple of kills and now we were trying to help fresh spawns by giving them food and guiding them to the nearest water pumps, but the communication is so hard because I play in EU servers (nobody speaks proper english). Almost everyone we tried to help either tried to kill us or just ran away. Today I played a little bit by myself, fully geared and everything. I was in Berezino running near coastline when I thought I saw a player in a bush, I ran there and it turned out to be a zombie, well I shot it with my M4, then I heard a distant shot and I thought it was just my paranoia. But then I heard more shots and I saw these 2 almost fresh spawns running on the road with someone shooting at them, they both bled out and died but the guy shooting at them ran after them, I tried to shoot him with my M4 but everyone knows how inaccurate it is. Then he went into a bush and combat logged. I used about 10 minutes looking for any possible friends the guy had. Didn't see anyone but then the same guy who combat logged had ghosted behind my back and shot me dead. And that's how it's like to try to help people in this game. Don't even bother.

For food poisoning, just eat and drink as much as you can and stay healthy, if you get a chemical poisoning charcoal tablets won't save your ass ;) If you get a chemical poisoning (don't try this at home) find a water source and drink and drink and drink until you're healthy again. It takes under 10 minutes for you to die if you don't play it smart.

Very true, that's why I shoot them in the middle of the eyes if they get close to me or raise their weapon.

Yeah GL, if you hear any gun shots I suggest you to 1 hit kill the fucker who's shooting ;)

Hello, I'm really frustrated of how hard it is to find an alcohol tincture to clean wounds. I was thinking that you could clean wounds with a water bottle or a canteen (obviously not as effective), it would use 100% of the water in the bottle and you would need some painkillers or you could go to shock. You could also clean wounds with a water pump, and if the water in the bottle is dirty you would get sick. Medical bags should always have disinfection liquid for wounds. Bandages and rags would need to be changed to clean ones after being on a wound for a while. You would need to sew wounds before your HP would start recovering (this needs CO-OP) Those were some of my ideas, sorry for my english it's not my main language.

M4A1 is NOT an assault rifle, it is a carbine and it should be accurate up to 500-600 meters, assault RIFLES on the other hand (like M16) can hit targets up to 800 meters and maybe even more, I hope this game will be made realistic so that weapons other than sniper rifles aren't completely useless on ranges over 100 meters like in most games.

OK now I'm running out of ideas :p install latest graphics card drivers. I have a GTX 660 Ti and the game runs very well.

What OS do you have?

I was thinking about the same feature, you have my beans.

I'd love to see that as a feature, however this game is already so far from realism that we probably won't see this implemented.

I thought about installing Dayz on my SSD too, but I wasn't sure if it would help, now after reading your post I might even try it out. Specs: i7 860 2.80GHz // GTX 660 Ti // RAM 8 Gt // Win8.1 Right now on very low graphics in cities ~60 FPS, on very high in woods ~50-60 FPS but in cities like 5 FPS :/
