Drop the Mosin, I know that you can carry 2 weapons but I never understood why people do it, it's really annoying to interact with anything. Back to the point... SKS is way more versatile than the Mosin, even though it lacks accuracy at extreme ranges and doesn't have a long range scope it's still better, just get a little closer to your target. I also feel much safer with SKS than Mosin because I can spray at close range if I have to. Here is a list of pros and cons IMO. SKS Pros: - Can load 10 ammo inside - Semi-auto - Great damage - Very good accuracy - No need for a secondary weapon which takes 4 inventory space - Fast reload - Speedloader (it's bugged currently, if you load it while you have ammo in the gun the ammo will disappear) - Spray & pray - Fast fire rate Cons: - Can't attach long range scope - Doesn't deal as much damage as Mosin(?) - Can't attach bipod - Can't be painted (for now) - You go trough ammo pretty quickly Mosin Pros: - Only "sniper" in the game - Good damage - Best long range weapon - Can be painted - Ammo is easy to find - A good amount of attachments Cons: - Slow bolt action - Only 5 rounds can be loaded - Don't miss at close range...

BUT THE GAME IS IN ALPHUR!!!! YUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID!! No but really, I agree with you, the games feels like normal russia but there are also zombies.

Only thing I agree you with is when you get headshot it should always be just bam, dead, but if you bleed out your screen should fade to black or white.

OP, as there are 3 things to do after getting the "end game gear" you can: 1) Help fresh spawns and kill bandits on the coast 2) KoS and run around Elektro with a M4 3) Go North and torture yourself to death with boredom because there is NOTHING TO DO IN THE GAME YET, IT IS IN ALPHA JESUS CHRIST

I know what you mean OP, I suggest you to come back when the game get's more stuff to do, like vehicles and building. I still enjoy playing it but don't know for how long, the game just feels like running around pointlessly and staying alive doesn't really reward you. Also here are some tips that I use when I interact with people. - See them before they see you, don't let them see you, get as close as possible and make contact with a microphone - 3RD person - Stay in cover - Try to sound as friendly and relaxed as possible - Don't even try to interact with people who have: clown masks, full military gear + M4 - Never trust anyone - Watch your back when interacting with other players - If the other player has a weapon in his hands tell him to put it away - Say that you are friendly - Ask if he has friends around - Keep your gun lowered when he sees you - When you want to leave tell him to keep his gun down and walk to the opposite direction

IRL you can't kill someone who deserves to die because of the laws, but in this game if you make up your own rules and you find a server hopper etc. and kill him, it's the best feeling you can get in the game. This topic probably doesn't belong here but I don't care, I'm so happy I killed a server hopper rat, shot him right in the chest with my sexy SKS + 100 meters.

Well once me and my friend saw 2 guys handcuffing a fresh spawn, we shot the 2 guys, let the fresh spawn free and let him take all their gear.

No need to apologize :P But as there is nothing to do currently up North, I hang around the coast. But I'm not KoS people other than bandits, I try to help fresh spawns by giving them food and guiding them to the nearest water sources.

I don't shoot fresh spawns, I don't like shooting anyone in the game who doesn't attack me. But when I was in the school building myself, some guy was trying to kill me, so I went into the housing block and waited for him to come back but he ran to Balota, and I'm not going to Balota LoL.

Well do you realize there are like 2 or 3 test servers up? That is the only reason why I waited for him to come back.

I had the PU scope, I'm not saying I'm a good "sniper" either. SKS is just very accurate.

I was in the housing blocks North of Cherno, I was camping on one of the roofs waiting for people to show up. Then I saw this guy with a brown shirt sitting on top of the roof of the school building, didn't got time to shoot him because I noticed him too late, well I waited around 10 minutes and the same guy with the same clothes came back into the same server. Shot him square in the chest.
