I am unsure if this could be possible for devs. I mean, after you log out will he still be on the server or will he become ghost character with some AI? I don't know.... But overall, it's a good idea for survival simulation -

Let me revive this topic. I am so into this. After adding barricading,base, camps you could be fairly safe to log out, and go to sleep. If someone isn't in a game for a couple of days, you would be super hungry and thirsty when you log in. And after few weeks, your character could die from starvation, plain as that. Death is the main feature in dayz. -

Yep, i agree. It will be a big mistake if you can die from these effects whenvehicles are not added. I am not a "add vehicles" troll, i am just making sense.

If overheating and hypothermia really work and it's not just status like damp then this is really bad since there are no bicycles.

I comfirm it to. You cannot make backpack from deer pelt. :( Does anyone know how many slots it has? -
In your opinion should they recreate how inventory works to make it more smart and logic? For example, military vest has 8 slots (2x4) and it should hold ammo,knife, flare, bandage and not frying pan, or pot.

I have used search function my man, but i have found 5 pages of inventory in it.

They need to add surgical scalpel to the loot so you can saw the top off and put it on the stick to make a weight for a arrow. Making an arrow with sharpened top does not work that well because it does not have balance, i have tried that when i was a kid. :) Something like this Steps : 1. sticks 2. scalpel 3. hacksaw to cut the top 4. feathers 5. rope to tie up the scalpel with arrow

But animals don't behave the same way as zombies. If you want this to be that more realistic when you hunt deer devs need to add wind factor. If the deer is east and you are west and wind blows from west to east then the deer will sense you.
