Eating takes way too much time

Protip: Open can of food, right click, eat. Spam the right click eat and every two clicks it will eat again, no matter if you were already finished. You can eat a four serving can in 5-6 seconds.
  2. Obviously the game will take some time to develop and they were upfront about it being incomplete when they offered it for alpha release, however: They need to not only work on security and barebones updates, but they need to also release minor content updates in the same timeframe. Adding two new weapon spawns and a minor content boost per week when they release a security and bug fix update, will not break the game, it will not lead to five frames per second, however, not adding any of these for six months will severely hurt the interest in the game.

Where can the long range scope be found?

I'm running a pristine long range scope I found in the hangar at NE, I've found the same in the top of the ATC at NE as well. Protip: Pick up a bipod and put it on as well and it will help you shoot accurately at much further ranges while prone.

    Mosin unscoped vs M4

The mosin shoots to the left of where the crosshair is aimed, you can't reload it with the scroll wheel and it's bolt action and often doesn't kill in one shot. I'd rather have an M4 for anything closer than 75m. However if you prefer long distance encounters the mosin dominates.

    Sniper Rifles

I've sniped 12 people in the last two days, 6 confirmed kills. Farthest shot was 1030 meters, but he made it out alive. The mosin is easy to snipe with, although you have to find a spot that gives you enough vision of the target while you're prone. Whoever said that the enfield is the same as the mosin is wrong, the enfield is british and fires a .303, the mosin fires a 7.62x54r. I would however like to see some more modern rifles, even if they are just civilian/LE based. If you get shot in the leg or the torso with a 7.62 you should go down. You're not running away after you get hit with that. You may live, but you should be unconscious or forced to prone until it's treated.
  6. I don't see myself making threads encouraging changes to fit my style of play. Know why? Because my style of play works perfectly fine, I've killed around seven players today and all my gear is intact. The majority of the carebear advocates who want a PVE server or punishment for bandit play simply want to be able to loot easier at military installations, so they can turn around in different public hive servers and kill other players.
  7. Go stand on the elektro hospital and tell everyone your plan through direct chat. In an apocalypse people would be the bigger threat, not zombies. The game is designed for hardcore players who are not willing to lose everything just to let someone pass by and loot things they may need. Players who think Dayz should punish it's players for taking out threats should rent a private hive server on the mod and play by themselves.
