    I play on servers with other people. I still avoid them. I have only met one people in game to did not KOS. His name is in my signature. I'm a Computer Engineering Technician, I'm willing to bet I can and have provided more useful feedback and suggestions than most people. Never met a admin in game that Im aware of. I don't doubt that they abuse the power. All the more reason why there should not be private servers imo.

    You can't be a very dedicated bunch of people if this is your first forum post and all your buddies have quit. I bought this when it came out and I have been playing since. I have yet to see a hacker walking on water, flying, no clipping, or anything else? Then again i also avoid players because this a early access zombie survival simulator not call of duty or BF4. I would rather not get shot in the face by someone who owns but wont use his mic.

    UPnP Support

    It would be nice if DayZ Supported UPnP to dynamically open ports in firewalls. While I do have manual port forwards open on port 2302-2305 not all servers use those ports. It would be pretty sweet if the game confirmed the port that the server is on and opened it via UPnP in my router. I would also help with desync and latency for people whom lack the skill set to open ports in their routers.

    If Steam does do port handling then its broken on my Linksys E4200 w/DD-WRT installed. As when Im playing no ports are opened by anything. Unlike my Xbox360, Utorrent and other clients.I have also played with 2x people on one connection, actually play with 3x as well, No dice. I will look into the steam angle see what I can dig up.

    Changing video cards problem.

    I get that random FPS drop to 1-2. I was a getting a random FPS drop to 5 while in game. Restarting the client resolves that for me. Setting launch setting and adjusting game graphcic netted me upward of 50% improvement. I was getting 14-20 at times now I get a steady 28fps for the most part.

    Worth a shot, it picked up 10fps for me. According to the road map the new render should not be to far down the road. I can't play either right now. The latency on my internet is too high.
  11. I need better cooling before I can OC to that. my FX-8320e will do 5ghz and is stable but the temp are to high. :( 4.0Ghz for now... <_<
  12. add "off" to your filter. Most will say persistence off, other than that there is no way to tell. That helps narrow it down a bit.

    1)Set launch commands: "Set -cpuCount= 4 -exThreads= 7 -high -malloc=system -maxMem =8192" 2)Download and install these two Windows Hotfixes: http://www.techpowerup.com/158534/new-windows-7-bulldozer-patches-available.html 3)If DayZ does not have a profile in the Nvidia Control Panel setup one. Force on "Threaded Optimization". It should help, default is AUTO. 4) Your gonna have to play with setting to find out what works with your rig. Turn off things like Post Processing.

    pretty much my though, I don't know about Russia but in the US most were permanently disabled leaving them inoperable. You do see collectors that have them every now and then. I think molotov cocktails are much more likely.

    The new render should make a huge difference for everyone. Half the problem is IMO trying to run DX9 graphic on DX10/11 hardware. DX10 was a substantial update as was DX11. Microsoft started from the ground up to support new unified shader architecture. Download and run this to clean off old drivers. It has to be run in safe mode (F8) while turning your pc on. http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html install the latest drivers and set launch parameters in Steam. "Set -cpuCount= 4 -exThreads= 7 -high -malloc=system -maxMem =4096" Turning off things like post processing, turning down AA will help. If your getting less than 30fps turn on Vsync. I find only running alpha coverage to only tree, and disabling ambient occlusion makes difference for me. Play with the setting find out what works. Apparently if your graphics are turned down the game engine loads up the CPU more. If your have the graphics turned up it loads up the GPU more. If your so inclined overclocking your cpu north bridge makes a huge difference on the older Phenom based AMD cpus. Just don't go past 1.4v. You should be able to get 2.6ghz out of it pretty easy. It said to net upwards of 10% performance improvement. Turning up the cores wont hurt either. Might as well get your moneys worth. I OC'd my Phenom II X6 1045T from 2.7ghz -> 3.4 on just FPS.No voltage required. Keep the HT at the same speed as the NB. They like to be in sync.

    Im not against the idea, but keep in mind the following. Flamethrowers pose many risks to the operator. The first disadvantage was the weapon's weight, which impairs the soldier's mobility.The weapon is limited to only a few seconds of burn time since it uses fuel very quickly, requiring the operator to be precise and conservative.The weapon was very visible on the battlefield, which caused operators to become immediately singled out as prominent targets, especially for snipers.Flamethrower operators were rarely taken prisoner, especially when their target survived an attack by the weapon; captured flamethrower users were in some cases summarily executed.[1]Finally, the flamethrower's effective range was short in comparison with that of other battlefield weapons of similar size. To be effective, flamethrower soldiers must approach their target, risking exposure to enemy fire. Vehicular flamethrowers also have this problem; they may have considerably greater range than a man-portable flamethrower, but their range is still short compared with that of other infantry weapons. A Soviet, ROKS–2 flamethrower in the Mikkeli Infantry museum, Mikkeli Finland (2011)Some Soviet Army flamethrowers had three backpack fuel tanks side by side. Its user could fire three shots, each emptying one of the tanks. The mechanism used to empty the tank was not a pressurized gas cylinder but a black powder cartridge on each fuel cylinder. This type is used in two versions, the "Light Infantry Flamethrower" (Легкий Пехотный Огнемёт) LPO-50 (ЛПО-50), and the "Heavy Infantry Flamethrower" (Тяжёлый Пехотный Огнемёт) TPO-70 (ТПО-70); a heavier, wheeled version was remotely triggered. The ROKS-1 (РОКС-1) flamethrower was a stationary device used in defense. It could also be categorized as a projecting incendiary mine. Different from the LPO and TPO flamethrowers, the ROKS had only one cylinder of fuel.[citation needed] The November 1944 issue of the US War Department Intelligence Bulletin refers to 'Fougasse flame throwers' used in the Soviet defense of Stalingrad. Unlike the flamethrowers of the other powers during World War II, the Soviets were the only ones to consciously attempt to camouflage their flamethrowers.   21. I'm down with a 12hr respawn timer, hell lets bring it to normal servers. Or make it 24 hours. But not before the hackers are gone and random death bugs are fixed. It would seriously make people think twice before shooting others.

    Spawn with Radio instead of Flashlight

    No one plays with the flashlight either. When playing at night they just crank up the gamma setting and brightness :/. I'm not against the idea, but realistically very few people have VHF walkie talkies never mine know how to use them. Of course this is DayZ and our charcters are super human, being able to fly Helicopters, do blood transfusions and such lol.

    They normally pull this stuff out to replace it with better stuff. I can only assume that they will give us two bi-pods. One studd mount that will work with guns like the Mosin. One picatinny rail for the Ak's and M4. Your post was most informative.
