you have to have a container to pee into (or maybe just get your spine all mangled to you can suck you own dick I guess) and every time you do it you receive diminishing returns and if you leave the piss in the bottle too long you get poisoning. oh and also you get to force feed people your piss.

I always thought it was generally accepted that you spawned on the beach because you had 'washed up', it works from gameplay point of view because it kind of separates the fresh spawns (generally close to shore) and the older characters (generally inland). sometimes I feel like my distance into the interior of the map is like a measure of how well I'm doing. it serves the game well to have a 'starting area'.
