i dont think thats true because there isnt 1 million people playing this game, infact there are only around 30k people playing at the moment, but over 2million have bought this game and i also dont think you can play everything maxed out and not recieve some sort of fps drop even with a highend computer,i have a highend computer and still recieve frame drops in cities

hello, I Have been experiencing a Issue with DayZ Mod, every Epoch Server I seem to join kicks me from the game shortly after getting to the stage where it says "receiving data" it fills up the bar but it just stays like that with the bar full after being like that for about 30 seconds it then says that I have "No message received for 10 seconds" and then kicks me from the game with the message " Connection to Host lost " does anybody else have this issue? and is there a way to fix it?

i am having a very similar issue, but when its at the "Receiving data" part it fills the bar up but after 30seconds or so it kicks me with the issue "Connection to host lost"

i know how it feels, its very frustrating if anybody knows a fix please tell us

i think there should be a ragdoll animation with your screen turning black

90% of the time you die from a fair fight? im not to sure what game you are playing but i might have exaggerated the 10% fair fight thing, but im pretty sure not everybody has the same experience you have in game. not everybody dies by a "Fair Fight" 90% of the time, One Question? if a group of players search a building and confirms that there isn't anybody inside but a player glitched inside of a wall kills them is that lack of awareness? or is that not paying attention to there surroundings?

i dont mind the AS-50 with the normal sight in the game, BUT only if it has been nerfed and it is extremely rare to find. but the AS-50 TWS will just be overpowered if it is in the wrong hands.

Yeah same. this week i have almost ran into as many wall glitchers possible. especially at the north east airfield in the jail/prison buildings, I've been killed alot this week by wall glitchers it is really frustrating to tell you the truth. The Way most people die: Wall Glitchers: 30% of the time Hackers: 30% of the time Desync: 30% of the time Fair Fight: 10% of the time

I'm Curious to see how many people would like to see DayZ on the Next Gen Console, personally i wouldn't mind it on the Next Gen. i think it would be interesting and something fresh for the Console players to try. So i'm curious. Would you guys say Yes or No to this topic? I understand there will be mixed opinions.

I'm pretty sure the Dev team will find a way to make the game playable and enjoyable if it comes to Consoles. yeah it will lack in features, but they will no doubt make it enjoyable for the console players. To Answer D, the Inventory will properly work well on Console because you have the joysticks, it will properly not use the drag and drop system used in the PC version. it might be implemented in a different way for example you may hover over the object you want to pick up / put into hands and press X ( PS4 ) or A ( XBOX) now you have the option on the dpad to drop the object or use the object, you could open your inventory by pressing the touch screen on the PS4 controller and another button on the XBOX, from there you could scroll down the charts from pants to shirt to gloves and you could be able to do the features you can do on the PC version, just in a different way designed for the Controller.

In my opinion, i think DayZ Should be on Console, if it sells bad that's a lesson learnt from the Dev's, if people enjoy it and it sells like hotcakes, then it possibly could be a win-win situation.

What i think this is only my opinion though, i believe that the game should be on Console The Developers would be crazy not to put a Console Port. It will give the Dev's an inside look at What Console players want if they want something new and fresh to play, because we all know At the moment most of the console players are playing C.O.D and Battlefield the Fast Pace Shooters. There hasn't been many Open world Multiplayer Survival games like DayZ On the Console. Who Knows maybe there is a Fan Base for survival open world games on the console that we don't know of. We may Never know. Unless the risk is made to bring it out on Console Once the full game comes out. Many will properly say if they want a Open world survival game like DayZ Just buy a PC, but i can assure you now not everybody wants to spend a bucket load of cash to play a single game like DayZ. But this is my opinion, there will be people that hate my idea, there will be people that like my idea, i understand

Hello, Im getting a strange bug or whatever you might call it, i am only seeing test servers when i check out the server browser for DayZ Alpha, this only occured maybe around 30mins ago, it shouldnt be anything with my internet or with my PC because i haven't changed anything, i was just wondering if anybody else is having the same issue? and if there is a fix? Thanks ( P.S. It might just fix on its own, time will tell...)

i hoping too <3, Lets hope there definitely not like ARMA 3 ragdolls they are very unrealistic.

Sadly Many peoples thoughts on this game is exactly this "Kill or Be Killed" and "If you cant beat them Join them"

do we just have to wait for this to be fixed, i understand its a alpha i expect bugs, but I've had 3 characters reset today on me. i get geared up and when the server resets i join in and im a fresh spawn, ive had this happen on all kinds of servers. hopefully this is resolved.

this happens to me sometimes aswell. but a little too often. sometimes it happens and i lose everything even if i do rejoin to another server. :( :(

i would have to say i Big YES to Vehicles but not at this stage into the game. more into the beta they should add vehicles. because i can tell you this now and know a lot of people will agree with me not everybody wants to run around for hours on end getting around on foot. Vehicles will make a lot of things easier. but they need to add them in so they cant be found exactly when u spawn in ( like in some mods/servers in the original DayZ Mod) they should make it a limited amount of 75 vehicles per server and they need to be ultra rare. especially helicopters maybe 2 per server. i wouldn't mind seeing vehicles having appropriate spawns also. for example you will find a Ute in a industrial locations or a small town but on the other hand you will find a Humvee in a old military base or a old camp and for the helicopters these spawns can be completely random, they could make it that they dont always spawn in airfields and military locations. the helis could even spawn in the woods or a small town.

I too want to say Thank you to Dean and everybody working on this game i just want to say, This is a Amazing game even in Alpha and i enjoy it alot. Thank you Dean and the Dev Team! This game is turning out Awesome.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 50cal bolt action like the AS50 ( the AS50 wasn't bolt action though) , but the Gun its self would be ultra rare, I'm talking 1 per server, with a maximum of 1 Mag each server, and these mags could appear in any sort of loot spawn ( just to make it hard to find) , i was thinking a mcmillan TAC 50 great for long range take outs, this might be abit OP, but remember how rare and how hard the Ammo would be to find. its a 1/40 player chance of a player having the gun. If they are not a hacker of corse, This is just what i would like to see. This is what i would imagine it would look like -->

So Guys, What are you most looking forward too for the full release of DayZ standalone, i know what im looking forward to the arrange of customization, the new weapons, epic PVP moments. Im curious to know what you guys are Looking forward too :)

Hell Yeah! i would love a map like that on Standalone ( if thats possible ) i could just imagine the awesome PVP moments in the snow,
