So ive played Dayz Epoch for a while now, and today i was playing on my usual server, then i got a grey screen, thought nothing much of it and tried to close it, only way to close it was to open task manager and end the process, so i try joining the server again and the same thing again, get past the lobby, get loaded in, see where my character was last at for around two seconds, then a grey screen, tried repeatedly to get in and the same thing happened. so i unistalled Arma and reinstalled it, same problem. Tried verifying game cache integrity, no avail. Any ideas on how i can fix this? ive tried everything i know! uninstalling each Dayz Mod i have aswell, none of them worked. Any help would be appreciated!

So ive tried joining the server with just Dayz Commander open and the same thing still happens, do you think this could be Server side issue rather than Client side? Corrupted player data possibly?

gathered that, some many new things in this update, just wondered if anyone else had the same issue!

So since the most recent update, three of my friends and myself have had trouble with lag? Normally before this update all 4 of us had no lag and was able to play fine but now we're all noticing really bad lag issues on multiple severs, for example; can't drop items out of our inventory, can't pull a gun out and can't pick loot up. Is anyone else having this issue?

Id love a console port, but from my own personal experiences, the audience on consoles is far less mature and younger than PC, again personal experience and opinion. Putting a game on console like Dayz is a great idea but i feel like it will be played a completely different way to what us PC gamers do it, KOS would be a bigger problem, hacking quite possibly too. personal opinion here and id buy and play the game, i just wouldnt play it the same way i play on PC, not going to lie i tend to take my gear and what i have pretty seriosuly and tend not to mess around with it, but on console i just wouldnt care if the game was going to played like it on them. personal opinion so no hate :)

So I played Arma2/Combined Operations, Arma 3 and Dayz standalone yesterday, came on today to find Battleye has global banned me on all three games, I'm not a hacker, I havent changed any scripts or anything like that, I tried emailing their support in the early hours of the morning, no reply. It frustrates me that in total I've paid £77 for all three of these games, to have pretty much all the online features taken away from me! For what? I've done nothing wrong and I hear a lot of these stories about people being banned for no reason, perhaps Battleye is to blame and perhaps it's not all everyone's fault?

Hello, was playing dayz earlier, fairly kitted out with a Mosin, long range scope, bipod, compensator, magnum, 80 rounds of .357 ammo, 50 rounds of 7.62 ammo. TTsKO jacket & pants, ballistic helmet, etc... you get the idea. My friends and i were around balota just the sniper hill there and they decided they'd had enough Dayz for the day so they logged out, i logged out too. changed my mind a few minutes later and tried logging back into the same server only to find i was a fresh spawn. logged back out quickly and tried a different server to no prevail, tried a few more times and no success, restarted Dayz, steam etc and still nothing. Thought to myself fuck it, its an alpha i'll get over it, started playing gain, started gearing up and logged out for a while (please note im pressing escape and close, not just shutting dayz down before anyone says anything about that) and logged back in later to find myself a fresh spawn again, tried logging back into the server and others and was become a different fresh spawn each time. Anyone else had/got this problem and anyways to fix it? i know this could under bug report but perhaps it could also go under general discussion too. Is this a server or a client side thing too?

I think item condition is a good thing, in this post apocolyptic world, things are going to degrade or become damaged, but you are right that the mechanics are a little messy at the momment but its a pre ALPHA! You have the right to moan when the game's out, not when its in this stage. I do have some suggestions though; 1. Perhaps when putting items in your bag, that is relevant to where it is in your bag, and then by this, shooting an area of the bag would only damage specific items in that area. 2. Some items are tougher than others, they should be able to take more damage before becoming ruined :)

I love Dayz Standalone, almost every aspect of it, and i know this is a relativeley new release and the devs are working hard on it. But if youve got go somewhere thats the other side of the map, weather its to go see a friend or to go and loot somewhere, for me personally running everywhere gets a little a boring. Im not here to be mad or troll or whatever and i know for sure its an ALPHA! And id rather wait for the vehicles to be real good before they release them but when is the expectated date or period for them to be released?

Im glad that they are reworking them, some of the arma 2 vehicles just didnt want drive properly or use physics, mid 2014 isnt bad either, i can wait and im sure other updates of the game will keep me busy :D
