I first off want to start by saying, this game is absolutely fantastic and I know it will grow to be a "household game". Of course there is glitches and problems that frustrate the players, but you all must realize that will be fixed in time, tired of seeing everyone complaining about glitches. Now I know this thread has probably been made 100 times already, but I just want to voice MY opinion on the matter. I can see both sides of the story when it comes to this scenario. Everyone is complaining how you can't spawn on the southern shores anymore. This is frustrating because the most popular spots for fighting and loot spawns is on the southern shore. As of now, the game is getting really un-enjoyable because you spawn on a east shore and have to run for 5 minutes to get to a major city, some of which rarely spawn weapons and such. Also, even on smaller populated servers, you run for minutes to a city and get shot before you can even do anything. Obviously you can't stop jerks from killing fresh spawns but you can easily change spawns to make your experience in the game funner and more productive. The obvious options are to bring back the old spawns or just make it so you can spawn near any city randomly on the shores (including the southern spawns). One last suggestion would maybe be to have things like barracks and the green tents in Balota, but near other citys other than the ones way inland in the mountains or or of course the ones by Balota. I know the DayZ mods would not like everyone playing in one small section of the map like previously where everyone was only hanging out by Balota and Cherno, but they have to realize they are now doing the same thing, but with the eastern cities. That is why if you can spawn near ANY city, it would be more enjoyable because it would spread people out, especially because server sizes will be increased in the future. What do you guys think? Do you think they should keep the spawns the way they are? Or should they make it so you can spawn next to any city randomly? Thanks for reading!
