    chernarus is not in czech, czech is landlocked. But it would still be good for czech equipment and looking at the cz75, there probably will be.

    If you are a lone wolf, i imagine shelling clans and running off or evading mortars might be fairly fun, especially if you end up surveying a huge clan war.

    if they make it like in ACE mod this would be great, rounds would be rare and practice would be necessary to use it, as in ACE, it is quite complex. No firing computer. Realistic too and you could mount it on trucks for insurgent-style attacks.

    Sniping

    Before you all say that this is stupid and that sniping has no place in dayz please hear me out. Sniping was a large factor in the mod (maybe too large) and it made people exercise caution, but now if the only weapons available in the future are the horribly inaccurate rifles, people will be free to run through fields without a care, that's not what dayz is about. That said, sniping was OP and anyone could grab an m24 and rack up kill after kill. The solution to this is to make sniping a skill that is hard to pull off. IRL you cant change you scope every hundred metres by the click of a button, its hard otherwise every soldier would carry one. Sniping should have a complicated zero system, wouldn't be hard just do what ace mod did. range tables should be lootable items - very rare to find one for your rifle so practicing is the main way of gaining skill. wind - you can find this info in a rangetable for your gun. wind should be able to be measured roughly by yourself and the environment but accurately by wind measures that should be very rare distance - there are no waypoints so unless you have a very rare rangefinder, you are gonna have to judge it yourself. dust - snipers kick up dust, an easy way to reveal yourself, you should be able to find/craft mats to rest your gun over. ghillie suits - craftable as a shoddy makeshift one that degrades or extremely rare military spawn balaclavas - helps snipers reduce skin shown The problem with sniping in the mod was it was easy, however if you have ever played ACE mod, you know its not easy and takes practice and calculations even if you have the best equipment, with these additions only the skilled/dedicated would be able to do this and if you miss the first shot, your chance is gone. For non snipers like myself it would restore the sense of caution necessary as when player counts increase, a skilled sniper could be lurking in any treeline as someone is sure to pass by, this and added zombies may force players to fight for loot, increasing the chance of server hoppers getting shot.

    definitely i think it would be awesome if in winter weapon spawns were high and food was low like namalsk. Vice versa in summer time. All servers would be the same though.
  11. Just a small suggestion - add the M4, the semi/burst version of the M4A1, make it more common than the M4A1 just for a bit of variety as it would give carbine users something to aim for (getting the M4A1) and i'm sure it's just a config change.
  12. I think as a general thing german forces shouold be included as American, British and Russian are, this would increase plausibility for G36s, G3s, MG3s etc.

    maybe you shouldn't be able to access it from your backpack, only carry it.
  19. the fact that anyone could be at any vantage point waiting to kill you increases tension, atmosphere and the overall "fear factor".
  20. ammo supplies need to be relatively common when zombie numbers skyrocket or it will become a boring game where nobody shoots zombies since they haven't the ammo. only saving their rounds for players.
  21. snipers are a big part of dayz, its what helped to make the mod so brutal. people can freely run through fields with no risk whatsoever
  22. L115A3 - .338 calibre sniper rifle used by a few European armed forces under different designations, the L115A3 being the British one. It is a highly accurate weapon and so it and it's ammo should be rare. In fact, a British sniper achieved the longest confirmed sniper kill (2.47 km) with an L115A3. It was known as the lapua in the mod for it's ammo and i believe many people would welcome it back (although it never went into the official dayz mod only submods like epoch). I think drastic measure should be taken with sniping to make it hard (think ACE 2).
