I fill my combat vest with magazines as well as having one in my gun and 4 slots taken up by spare bullets in my backpack. It's more bullets than I am ever likely to need but better to be safe than sorry. I also like to use 40 round magazines as my primary because it isn't as in your face as the 60's. Speaking of which, surely the double magazines should not be lootable at all and should be craftable only? 2 magazines+tape,done. Though I suppose combining 3 items is the tricky bit.

So, I'm not even going to pretend I know much about being a medic in the game,but I keep myself alive and get the medics in when I'm desperate. But, I'm a little confused about Saline. I understand that before a recent-ish patch a saline bag was as good as a blood bag, took up two inventory slots like a blood bag too. And after it was half as good,yet also half the size. So effectively,two saline bags are as good as a full correct blood bag and take the same inventory space. Am I right in this idea?

Ahh thanks for the help,I understand now. In my experience blood tester kits are far too rare.

I'm finding them rarely,I have a damaged red dot scope which is just about functional. What I'd do for a pristine ACOG.

Then will the M4 recieve the buff it realistically needs, threads in this forum have conclusively proven that it is much less accurate than it should be, they have also shown that the ACOG is only half the magnification it should be. So as it is one of 4 primary firearms at the moment it is fair that it is,well, shit at medium+ range but as it does become one of the rarest weapons and as players with them are steadily killed off. Do you think it will be given it's realistic stats? Because personally I'd take the SKS anyday at the moment. I know many for whatever reason feel the M4 actually needs a nerf not a buff, and maybe the damage could be reduced but the accuracy is certainly a different tale. Just my 50 cents from someone who, doesn't actually know loads about firearms.

Actually Teuful there is a thread somewhere on the forum showing the accuracy difference of the M4 from Arma 2 to DayZ,and it's quite substantial.

The bayonet can open cans? Without losing half of it or? If so then this is quite the revelation.

Well on my current character I'm civilian so I'll stick with the magnum,but I guess next time I go military maybe I'll switch to it :)

I just keep searching around and shooting walkers, Avoid all players with guns unless I absolutely have to engage and if I bump into a bambi,I'll give them what I can. I currently have over 100 magnum bullets (Yeah :S) so maybe I'll start giving them to charity.

Belts.. I want simple fashion belts. I want simply normal holsters. I want simple utility belts. I want to be able to wear my normal holster and my utility belt. Yes,I want to look like Rick Grimes. Oh,and I want better hats. And I want to know how good the combat knife will be,2 stabs to kill?

I spend a lot of times on a roleplay mod for mount and blade so I'd love a server that isn't JUST kill or be killed. My new character is very Rick Grimes but without the baggage and a slightly different storyline. A plain clothes homicide cop sent from America with a few others to train up the inefficient Chernarus police force. The rest of his team were picked off earlier on into the infection and was betrayed by the men he had been training who tried to kill him when everything went to shit,now he wanders Chernarus with his Mosin,Revolver and backpack dressed in shirt and jeans.

My new policy is to kill all military,try and help all civilians.

Well yesterday I was in my perfect gear,saw another guy in near identical gear and...for some reason...I didn't shoot him. I run away hoping he'll realise I don't intend to kill him,but he wasn't playing ball,boom...boom...boom. 'You are dead'. I'll never make that mistake again, still,after 2 hours I've just collected a magnum with 52 rounds and a mosin with about 20 and have an almost Rick Grimes appearance, shame the holster is in the wrong place and I have stupid hair and everyone has an identical face but...apart from that.

M4 spawns have been reduced dramatically, I got lucky. A few days ago I died by glitch and a friend got my perfect M4,Thankfully he was willing to swap a Mosin with 2.5x scope I found. So now I am once again happy with my M4,ACOG and 580 rounds. But I know that if I lose it a second time,I won't get it back.

So,I just shot a man. I have killed men, not many, before but...never like this. I stepped into the Eastern military building at the North East airfield, and upon ascending the stairwell I see a player there facing away from me, he had a helmet,gasmask and backpack and what looked like an axe and a mosin. And...I didn't have my mic plugged in so I couldn't talk to him. So I shot him in the head. But the bullet didn't hit his head. I'd missed. He turned around,looked right at me. I paused, he paused as I looked back into his scared eyes. And then I unloaded 5 more bullets into him. He didn't have a mosin, he didn't have any firearms. He shouldn't have died, and I feel guilty. I ran from the airfield, torn up with grief at my heinous crime. Man at NEAF this morning,if you read this. I am truly sorry. Regards, the bad military man.

I have killed 2 in a firefight and have murdered 3. I have spoken to around 5 people and in total seen maybe 50 different people,almost all of whom I avoid.
