In my particular situation it was a waiting game, and it was happening to everyone on the server. I agree that occasionally it may be difficult to get the gear menu to appear on account of grass or other things getting in the way but in my, and most probably the op's situation was not the case. I would argue most probably server desync but since it hasn't happens since then I don't know. That just doesn't seems helpful

I believe spider is correct. This was happening on a server I was on. Took about 5 minutes after gutting for the meat steaks to appear. You just have to be patient

Why I asked there are Alot of private servers that will kick u as soon as u join. I found a few and wondered myself wtf... the realized they were not connected to the hive

What is it kicking u for? More info needed. Reminds me of a incident I had trying to join a while back... had two instances of arma 2 open. I couldn't join any sever

there is also a field hospital 2435.5, -4088.5. found a medical box there, can anyone confirm this location. My memory is a bit off sometimes

I also am confirming the graphical artifacts are still occurring, mainly with the soldier corpses. Old fixes that worked for me failed(lowered object and texture detail) I then turned everything on low with 50% 3d resolution and everything was fine(ugly but playable). Also want to mention the ammo conversion for the 45 caliber handguns and 10 gauge shotgun is still not fixed(still unlimited ammo), but they damage seems increased(one shot with 1911 and revolver)

Try pressing the f key. default for switching weapons.

I've encountered many players on the private hive. It plays about the same. My first day on private hive I helped someone fight off zombies, gave him a blood transfusion and decided to run with him for a while... 15 minutes later he shot me in the back. I respawned and found him with my alice pack. He shouted at me in direct chat to go to him because what he saw I was being chased by zeds with only a hatchet to defend myself. Little did he know I had just found a m9. He turned around about 15 meters then I changed to my sidearm he turned back around and let him have all 15 rounds. I died soon after when his buddy who I didn't see opened fire on me. My personal experience with both hives, play pretty much the same

I play on the hive server with friends with all the combat d/c'ing and server hoppers. I don't think that is rockets vision. On the other hand, the private hive I play on I feel keeps his vision, players can't serverhop for the best loot. The private hive I play on plays exactly the same with the same degree of danger/risk when encountering other players, difference is they can't dc and then flank around you on another server. I see no problem with private servers besides load testing the hive

We also had all our tents removed. Had a few tents for 3 weeks with no problems. Logged in today, all were gone. I doubt anyone found them , we had several different camp sites. Oh well, we chalked it up to being an alpha mod and waited to see if it happened to anyone else.

What are you using for controller? Keyboard? Do you also have head tracking system?

Me and a buddy were just playing, entered a completely empty supermarket then 30 seconds later all the loot spawned around us. I don't think your characters distance from loot spawns matters. Then again we entered the town on a atv then quickly entered the market and had a 3rd guy on foot that probably spawned the loot while we were inside. I don't really know and am looking for answers

I will try that, but I'd like to reiterate that direct chat was working for me for a couple of hours. After I got disconnected and joined back it didn't. That just seems odd. I have also tested headset with voicerecorder and teamspeak and it works fine, If the problem persists after the attempted binding remedy I will probably just use teamspeak. Thanks

This happend to me today, was playing and using direct chat with friend then got disconnected for some reason. Rejoined and he couldn't hear me. Rebooted computer and rejoined and he still couldn't hear me. My headset works fine with other uses, it just stopped working in game.
