People who complain about PoS are the people who get PoS'd. Dayz is a brutal game as it should be, being a post apocalyptic world and all.

Also until the game and servers are more stable people will always be able to lag kill you by running and zigzagging etc

If you let someone with in punching distance of you, you deserve it. I think helmets should negate the knockout chance for sure.

It's completely legit. It adds depth to the game. Players should always be on there tippy toes. I help bambis all the time but I'm not so naive to believe that if I give them a chance to take my gear they won't do it.

Gingatsu, remember this is a dog eat dog world set in a zombie apocalypse. Survival is key and if they have a gun and I need it, it's rocky balboa time. I don't kill them.

I always make up an elaborate story about bandits so I can get them to trust me. Then I throw a rabid flurry of punches. Haha I don't kill them I just take the gear. It is way more depressing getting your gear taken by a bambi and waking up then respawning.

If I'm a fresh spawn and you get close enough to me while we small talk, it will come to fisticuffs. So far I've taken out 15 geared guys with one Mike Tyson blow to the raisin case. Am I alone in this practice? Punch on sight.

I'm using swype on my android and it is not ideal for story writing. I happy to enjoyed the story, it was an awesome night on Dayz.

Ok so I'm on my phone so bare with me. My two friends got Dayz and wanted to play with me. I was fully geared up near zelenagorsk and I meet up with one of my buddies. He has nothing when we meet but soon after he had a m4 and a few mags. My other buddy spawned in cherno so we head to cherno. After about 5 minutes of running my buddy tells us that he made a group of 7 people and they are looting together so we concoct a plan to ambush his group. He has a pistol and we have two m4's. We would have him relay the location to us via teamspeak and he would wait for us to open fire then turn on them and open fire on them as well. So during our run he informs us that they turned on themselves and he and 2 guys are left in the group. So I'm like sweet less people to kill. We finally arrive on the outskirts of cherno and they are in the woods by the power plant. We spot them so me and my mate go prone and slowly advance on my other buddy and his group of soon to be corpses. I draw aim on the one on the far left and my buddy is on the far right. We open fire and my buddy in the group turns on them and walla they are dead. We quickly celebrate then proceed to loot the bodies. While we are looting we hear someone screaming "you shot my buddies!", then he opens fire. All the sudden one of my mates are dead so I turn and gun down this ninja. We are bummed that one of our trio of ambushery has died. So our buddy spawns in solnichy and proceeds to run back to cherno to reclaim his gear. But alas he tells us on teamspeak that two fully geared guys ran into him and offered an armed escort to cherno. So we concoct another plan to ambush these guardians of bambis. So we sneak over to the road into cherno and start to setup this ambush. We take position on the hill over looking the road. While we are waiting we see 3 fully geared people on the road trying to enter cherno. We know it's not the group we are waiting on but oh well let's get them anyways. So we open fire and I kill one and the other two run into a bus stop. I begin to sneak up on it and bam my buddy drops dead. It appears these fully geared guys had a sniper buddy following behind them on the hill to provide cover. I'm like oh crap I better rush the two guys in the bus stop so I can focus on the sniper after I kill them. So I run up on the two guys and drop one instantly the other guy and I light each other up but I end up killing him. I'm seeing black and white due to him lightning me up. So I decide to just make a run for it because in my current shape this sniper will most likely own me. Sure enough as I run out the sniper snuck up on the bus stop and greeted my face with his 357. Bam, I'm dead. Oh well I had a good run and time to get re geared. I spawn by starry and instantly run up on crime scene of a fire fight and walla I'm re geared. I love Dayz so for typos I'm on a phone.
