If the hard drive have sata connectors - or whatever connectors you new PC will use, probably data - then yes. Some computers that are bough already built - especially older ones - use IDE connectors, in which case you won't be able to use it. If you can use your old hard drive, it will also save on the cost of a new operating system if your happy with the one on it :)

My setup: And phenom ii x4 955 processor (no longer available, though the phenom ii x6 series are good) 4gb corsair vengeance ram Asus m5a87 motherboard MSI r7850 twin froze graphics card Corsair 750 watt power supply Coolermaster had 912 plus case Seagate barricuda 500gb. (Western digital is better though IMO) Random cheapy optical drive If you were to buy this PC exactly, I think it adds up to around £600. You could probably get away with a cheaper graphics card - ati 6770, not sure about nvidia. You could also get a 500 w power supply (never go cheap tho ). You can get a cheaper case, such as the cooler master elite 430. These changes (depending on what you do) could possibly take the price of the rig down another £100-£130. With this setup in dayz I get around 20fps in populated cities and 30-40 fps in forests and field. 60fps if I look straight down ;p However, I have heard that Intel processors give much better performance on arma 2/3 and dayz In other games: I can run dirt 3 on ultra at 70fps Hope I helped in your decision :) I'm sorry that the prices are a bit high, but performance usually costs money unfortionately :(

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Your idea with base building Sounds a bit like Rust - on steam. IMO I think your idea is really interesting :) I would love to see it implemented into the game at some point as it would add a whole new level to the game :)

hotkey for flashlight/headtorch on/off
Desertpenguin10 replied to wild_man's topic in General Discussion
Did you remember to put batteries in ;p But seriously. F seems to work for me. When torch is in your hand, try moving the scroll wheel and there might be an option in top left, highlight it and press on scroll wheel :) -

I think you can use "f" whilst the torch is in your hand. Not sure about headtorch though :) -
This would be awesome when they stop combat logging!! you should put [suggestion] at the start of the title :)
