    Anyway, be aware that the bow doesn't shoot and that there are no arrows for it in game yet. So it is not useful, at all. Craft it just because it is cool.

    The default button is P (it stands for "players"). It will let you see the list of players on the server at the moment :)

  5. Considering that is 00.25 AM on saturday in central Europe, I think you should start considering opting out from experimental if you want to play/test over the weekend :)

    1) Suppressors never worked, since day 1...so, everybody had problems with them. I don't know why you write "anymore". The Amphibia has the right sound, and it does work because it doesn't need to change its sound because of an attachment. 2) Many things aren't mentioned in these changelogs, usually. Anyway, fireaxe, blaze, sporter 22 etc are paintable since the previous stable patch, not the last one. You didn't know it, but that's it :)

    In this case, that's the right thing to do. Let's hope it was just some minor desynch. Those aren't supposed to be. There were some on experimental, but that was just to stress test the servers, it is too soon to see something similar in a stable server.

    I don't think that the soppressor makes any difference, but is cool. You have to wait for the previous action (eating/drinking) to end before the option to eat/drink something else shows up. That's why you could only inspect them. This way they eliminated the spam eat eat eat, wich is good. So the infinite crossbow bolt still exists, that's bad. I prefer the buis over the default sight, but it depends on you. ACOG and other optics have different purposes, I would not throw an ACOG away if I thought it might be useful. It depends on how you want to play. Maybe you can throw away the red dot, if you prefer the BUIS, anyway.

    According to what Rocket wrote on reddit yesterday, the next stable update is scheduled at the end of may, so a month from now.[partial sarcasm]I don't know if this is the more robust process for testing and delivering they said they were going to look at in the devblog "a busy couple of weeks...".[/partial sarcasm] Anyway, they can change idea during development, it depends on how things go, I believe. This patch to stable was rushed to stable because they were late before people started complaining, in my opinion (many of the scheduled things didn't made it in the update). But I believe they should have spent some time fixing those known bugs before pushing it to stable - Rocket doesn't think the same, he talks about fixing gamebreaking issues only. But he used to think that they had to fix all the fixable before pushing to stable just some patches ago, or that is what he used to wrote when asked the reason of the delays. So, the best thing to do, I believe, is not asking informations anymore and let it be.
  10. They always talked about "quadrants", not buildings. I don't think that emptying a building is sufficient or necessary.

    They added the crossbow and the engraved 1911 (if you consider that adding a new weapon). Ok experimental there is another pistol atm. The Akm is not in yet.

    If you have a 32 bit OS and CPU (if you have a 64 bit CPU and 32 bit OS it's weird) you have 2 possibilities: 1) Change game 2) Change computer Anyway, 64 bit should be the future so I understand the need of improvement in a game like this one. I wonder how they will handle the fact that they sold lots of copies (I don't believe is only 5%, but that's anyway a big number and somebody with a 32 bit sistem might still buy it) with minimum specs that are going to change, leaving outside many that already bought the product. I guess they won't be dealing with that, leaving the shitstorm to the forums.

    They declared Karmankova is not in yet, they promised it for the next patch (who cares, btw).Source: latest tweets, look at the dev tracker. Any news on my previous question about the crossbow, anyone? And, if you get kicked by one of those illegal join-kick clan servers, you have to change it (and report it).... It is impossible to play there and there is no reason to do it.

    Is the crossbow broken as it was on experimental? I don't want to switch to stable atm, I keep testing experimental branch, so I ask. (I'm referring to infinite shots with one arrow if you wait for the reload time to pass, arrows not stackable and impossibility to put them in quiver, etc)

The topic is locked atm, that's why you won't see it on top :)Anyway, I don't know why ya'll so excited about this rushed update to stable...looks like they wanted to give a cookie to players to me :/ Anyway, if the guaranteed updates works fine on stable then it's fine.
  16. This is just because coupled mags are not working properly. A coupled mag should not give 60 round but 30+30 (ok, gameplay, let it be 60 without reloading), but when you remove ammo it should give you 2 stacks of 30 ammo. That would solve these exploits.

    Missing stuff in backpack after log in

    You had some 4 slots objects/a sawed off gun? If yes, how many empty space there were in your backpack? Every time you log in objects in the inventory are reorganised (everything is put on the top of the container): if the space is not sufficient something might get lost. Objects with big dimensions clearly can create more problems.

    Yes, that will be fun, again! I can't wait too, but unless they make us an incredible surprise, persistant objects won't come soon, but soon :) We'll have to wait, fire & cooking will be our first amusement!

    Having a different version in internal testing is quite normal and frequent, it doesn't mean much for us. Maybe is similar to the experimental update that we should see soon, anyway. Nobody knows :)

    Why do you link wednesday with experimental branch patches? I'm seeing this every week... The only thing that's scheduled on every wednesday is the stable branch mainteinance, wich can sometimes be used for implementations in that branch...patches on experimental branch should have nothing to do with this :)

  23. No, that's Chernaia-Polana (or similar name) and has been added weeks ago.Experimental now does not feature the new town they were talking about in this devblog. Will be added to experimental with the next patch (according to these sources), experimental has not been updated yet. And, as for the post above me, yes...there is an unfinished town (almost nothing in) with no name in the NW, where the railroads end. I saw it in the 0.42 when it was on experimental, so it should be on stable now. To the readers: please remember that this is the old devblog, not the new one people are waiting for :) Nice that the forum staff decided to copy & collect all the devblogs in one section on the forums.

    Where am I?

    That picture is taken in front of the church of Svetlojarsk, you are on the extreme east of the map. Behind you, there is a police station. Right you can find a clinic, pretty hidden. It's a nice city, built on the Guba bay. North west you can find a road to Olsha, and following that you can get to the NE airfield and thus Kranostav. Going north you'll find the new town, but be careful: it's easy to get lost in that area if you don't know it. Going west on the coast you'll find Rify bay(and the ship) and near in that direction Berezino. Hope this helps :)
