If that's true, it must be an error with the zeds spawn mechanic, and not something intended ;) -

They probably did not manage to fix what they wanted now, or they did it too late. Things that can happen. Maybe they'll be able to push the experimental tomorrow. -

Posting on social medias could be fine (even if I don't like that at all) as you suggest: but posting more inherent and informative (aka clear) content is what I meant. Without hiring anyone. Anyway, as devs they do a good job, and for me that's enough: I just don't understand why they can't be clear on Twitter about the news :) -

Don't get me wrong, I was just trying to remove a bit of drama from this thread with a joke, as you well know people always goes too hard on these things ;) That's also why I don't agree with you, knowing how people behave gives clear possibilities for counter measures (if interested in doing so). Its part of their job (my opinion, of course, and just related to this project) keeping people informed and involved, and they could do a lot better on this point of view, I believe. Clearly, is not a main priority when developing such an expensive project and I don't blame them...but we all know people will, so I still don't get them (assuming they care, obviously). -

It means they are laughing seeing us getting frustrated and mad about updates. That's why they never give clear informations when those are needed ;) -
Too late for this joke man.

Every wednesday the same story XD The mainteinance always takes around 3 hours. Apparently today they started a little later than scheduled.

They should know, stairs are ladders' cousins. And ladders kill people, everyone knows that. So, it might be a family business.
-
We shouldn't, unless they decided to make us a surprise.

Have you tried to open the game from steam or from a short cut created by steam (in other words, in the correct way)? Try it. Then, if it doesn't work, try to verify the game cache (there's an option in steam). If you think that a program might be conflicting (an antivirus maybe?) try starting the game after having disabilitated that program instead of directly trying a safe mode.

Never take a damaged one...there are some risks about that. -

Known Issues: Physics: Item throwing physics is currently disabled Melee: Gestures currently do not work from two-handed melee Melee: Cannot conduct melee attack from "lowered" melee stance (press space to chance stance to "raised") If you don't mean this, I did not understand you. -
He said that he was going to leave at some point after alpha multiple times, even months ago. Hunting is already in internal testing and is expected to be in experimental soon, I saw the video today. Will see where we'll be in 10 months, also Rocket stated his flexibility. I do not understand all this visibility today, it must be because of some stupid paper writers.

with dean out of the picture now, can u guys release next patch
Gugolas replied to lnfighter's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I won't talk about the patch but...Dean is not leaving the SA. Inform yourself better, follow the official "news". -
Did he switched in the TV then?
-
No, I am not, luckily. I just stopped sleeping years ago, and I bought the alpha on day 1, wich is more than 2 months ago. Look at the hours of the pros, and you'll see I am nothing to them (and I'm proud of it, damn), but I already have a good experience in this game and so I know what I'm talking about :) Glitchers will never be banned, we all know, we just have to wait for the glitches to be eliminated. Hacks will be less frequent when the more and more scripted core parts will be removed and ported to the engine, as planned...but it will require time.
-
This is not to advertise and underline how awesome I am, but thanks for all the beans you give me, I can almost beat those damn apocaliptics on National Geographic channel.
-
Hacks are already rare in this phase of game (wich is extremely good, given it is in alpha), and devs already stated what their plans are about that, but as an alpha, you'll see hacks sometimes. I never saw them in 300 hours. But I saw exploiters, and you saw them too in you second encounter. That's not hack, probably pboing... It will be fixed :) Just be patient.
-
No. There hasn't been one.
-
Yep. Apparently, he also thinks that he is leaving now and that DayZ is almost over, reading what he quoted, and he is blaming you bloody bandits for that.Edit: blaming and insulting. Indeed, I would translate "bimbominchia" in "dickhead kid". Or "kid-dick". The last one sounds good.
-
Was he a survivor until he took a 7.62 to the knee?
-
In my country we also call bimbiminchia (or minkia, if you wish so) those who don't read and inform themselves and then spread partial and uncorrect news (I'm talking about Rocket's departure). Please follow official news/declarations and not those who look for visibility with stupid articles. Anyway, I don't like banditry as you don't, but in a sandbox game (and this, friend, it really is one) it has to be expected. If it makes you angry and you don't enjoy this phase of testing, come back in some months when more features added will help creating more play styles. But when you put humans together and give them the possibility, banditry (or better cruelty) will always be one of them - if you don't get/accept/like that, then a sandbox game is not for your own tastes.

In that case thank you. I didn't notice a bug report about this, must have missed it, but that explains something that happened to me...I thought it was the building I were in fault's...thanks.
