Okay, so for the past few weeks, I've been unable to play DayZ. I freeze when I join servers, and I promise you that I have not used any mods or hacks, nor do I even know how to use them. Some servers worked (which had BE enabled) and I was playing one earlier. I signed off of the server and forgot the game on (in a rush) to go out with my friends, as they were outside. I just got home and it says I am global banned. I literally don't feel I deserve this. Is there any way I could email BE and request my ban to be lifted? Do they even lift bans? Any information would be helpful, and thanks in advance!

Get a friend to see if it is dried out on their screen. If not, take it to your advantage and be the world's best bandit.

Whenever I try to play, I get stuck at the "please wait..." but this doesn't seem to be an issue at all on Non-Battleye servers. The only problem is that it loads everything, but it never says "scenery ready!" What is the problem here? Is there anyway that I could possibly fix this?

So for a few weeks now, I've had this problem. I cannot join servers and my character will not show up. When I try to join servers, it says 'please wait' and after about 20 minutes to an hour of it saying that, it will kick me from the server saying I could not connect. I've tried turning my AV off, uninstalling it, changing my steam name, editing config, deleting config, verifying game cache, reinstalling game, and even gone to the extent of restoring my pc to factory settings. I haven't been able to play since the week before Christmas, and I haven't found a fix yet. Anyone have any ideas? Here is a picture of my main menu.

Today my friend and I ran into a failure of a bandit who tried to kill my friend for his damn beans until I ran out with my m4 and threatened him. We had him get on his knees and we handcuffed him. We then took out all of our med kits and took 3 or 4 blood bags from him. Somehow he didn't pass out, but then we went to the next level and began to feed him rotten fruit. We took his items and let him free. He found an m4 before we left, and tried to kill us, so we put him down. Nearly 4 hours later my friend accidentally ate a rotten fruit and got sick. He was running low on blood and we had no choice but to play blood bag roulette. 10 seconds later he passed out, and never woke up. Maybe 5 minutes later I found antibiotics and a saline bag, so I killed my friend for no reason... I soon realized I was low on food. I saw a noob running toward me in the far distance. I hid in the grass and waited for him to pass to "Welcome him to DayZ." He had a nearly empty backpack with 2 cans of beans, a flashlight, 2 batteries, and a wrench. I left everything but the beans, which I later traded to a random passerby, whom I killed nearly 30 seconds later. I think I'm going insane. I'm afraid. I don't want to be a bandit. I'm better than this.

This sounds like a good idea and all, but I have enough trouble organizing items to allow more storage as it is. Just looking at that picture is driving my OCD insane.

Honestly, I did not even think of that. I'm absolutely freakin' torn on this right now. It seems like a good idea, but there are quite a few flaws along with it :l

You kind of just changed my opinion. I actually agree with letting it be dropped. It could be a great accessory or maybe you could rip it up into rags and save your life. Thanks for the response :)

I'm sure that as they add more items, many of the food spawns will be replaced by item spawns. As of right now I think we have a sufficient, if not a bit too much food, but I'm sure the number of food will be depleted as the game progresses.

I mean not like a shirt that says "ALPHA PARTICIPANT" I mean like for example maybe an option of a special version of the default, bandit, and hero skins (if they do in fact include it.)

I think that when the game goes into full release that all alpha participants should receive the ability to wear (for example) a special shirt or clothing piece available to only them, and it should be destroyed if dropped and excluded from looting. This wouldn't give the player any advantage over the average player, but would give a nice little thing to show that you participated in the game's alpha. Then again I'm quite stupid, so what do you think about this idea?

Try actually reading them. Some of them teach you about reading Russian to help you better read road signs and communicate with other players (even though google can be used to do the same, it helps nooby players)

Single player would be terrible. This isn't a zombie game, it's about the player interaction, the strategy, and getting those god damned beans before someone else. If you want a zombie game with a singleplayer, that's not DayZ.

Quite a few people, including myself have come across an issue where we can't respawn in game, whenever we join, we get stuck at 'Please Wait' and it says that we can respawn, but when we click it, nothing happens. Please give us the ability to wipe our character on the main menu, it could help us to eliminate a lot of bugs.
