Naw, just tilt the graphic a small number of degrees our way. Or make the character hunch a little bit more (camera tilt). But even as is, it's not too bad. Yeah yeah! Sit down realism junkies! Realism has to take a backseat to practicality in games, so get over yourself.

:) Not saying they couldnt "rework" the timers and such in unconsciousness... Lets say, max 20-30 minutes in worst conditions? Make hunger go mega fast while KO'd. Or bleeding MASSIVELY speeds up unless you get bandaged within 2 minutes. Crap like that. But really, respawning while unconscious is a bit of a copout imo.

For now, delaying the bolt is easy. Simply chamber a single bullet at a time while you're "practicing" or "honing" your aim. You're welcome. EDIT: Do note however, that the above will only delay the bolt. You will still have to deal with the recoil; BUT IT CAN BE DONE, you just need REALLY good eyes.

Mountain = immediately not mine. Hunting pack = 20% likelihood its mine. Improved survivor's pack = 80% likelihood its mine. Also... I would never stash near the walls. You would have to be at least 300m from any discernable manmade structure to find mine :) But I love that there are indeed some folks around that have taken my advice to heart when it comes to playing more "prepared and careful".

I havent tested this extensively, but i will throw it out there. First compass i ever found, was in Worn condition. No problems! An hour or two later, after having taken zero damage of any kind, the compass was badly damaged. Nothing else in my inventory had any degredation, except for the compass. So now, ive just made it another part of my insane character's ocd things that he does... "Cant leave it open again, those goddamn feds will hack it again!"

I wholeheartedly support this. PLEASE do disable respawning on unconsciousness! Respawn should ONLY be a valid option on DEATH.

Fine. Make a sanity system. On the other end of the spectrum, if you DONT kill x people per hour, your sanity goes the other way and your character starts to shine brightly for all to see as well as loses the ability to aim. Unless you put some sort of disadvantage on BOTH ENDS of the spectrum, you are in fact, trying to punish people for how they play. That said: i have said it a whole lot of time, so here we go again. I do not care if my character instantly explodes the exact moment that a bullet from me even TOUCHES you; I WILL STILL DO IT NO MATTER WHAT!

The parts we don't know (yet) are things like: Do they persist through death? Do they exist only one the server placed, or global on the hive (most including me hope its server-specific) How large, and what limits? Accessible to only you, or anyone that finds it? (personally prefer anyone that finds it takes it - would hate to see spawn-stashes becoming a thing...) All we know is theyre working on it, and its coming soon. Then again... soon could mean anything these days, and even then it could only be "soon for experimental" - i expected to see it on experi this week, but havent yet.

RIGHT NOW, as the game is, Magnum is my clear choice every single time. The FNX has the accuracy of a little boy learning to use the toilet for the first time. FNX requires TWO headshots to kill a healthy, player (One is just knockout for a minute or 5). Much more if he's wearing a helmet. Magnum speedloaders are all over the place. I suggest especially checking out storage units (or garages as the brits call em). Besides that, you only need one or two --> for those quick reload requiring situations. 99% of the time I load manually. Only ever used a single speedloader ONCE. BUT, Once they sort out silencers, FNX will become my new preferred mode of Zombie wipeout. I will actually ditch my melee weapon at that point - unless ammo becomes an issue.

I will help you out, as lonewolf (murderer) is my speciality. 1: KNOW your server. KNOW the restart schedule! 2: Find a good bush. Around 300-500m away from your position. 3: Remember the location REALLY well. I mean it, you should be able to tell me that facing south, 200m away 30 degrees left, there are EXACTLY these features etc. 4: Drop your pack and main weapon. 5: Empty out all your pockets into backpack - if backpack has no more room, youre traveling too heavy imo. 6: Only having your clothing, sidearm, 1 extra magazine for sidearm, and 1 bandage (or stack of rags) - speedloot the zone. 7: KNOW what youre there for. Don't dawdle. Don't grab junk. Don't grab things you don't NEED. 8: DO NOT run straight back to your pack when you're done. Take a detour, make sure you weren't followed. 9: If, in the process of looting, you got killed - do not worry, you marked your stash well and will make your way back with LOTS of time to spare - see point 1.

I'm playing experimental, just to see if anything other than fixes is going on --> 6 hours haven't seen or found anything "out of place". Also quite confused this side over the lack of of experimental changes document...

I've never referred to myself as a bandit, but i do OFTEN refer to myself as a murderer. There is no better word to describe my character.

DayZ russian roulette actually goes like this: Find one of those white flammable gas containers. 2+ people draw their melee weapons. Any melee weapon will do. Take turns hitting the container (back away when your turn is over) Loser dies in agonizing 'splosion.

I respect your level aproach to all this, but... Uhm... KoS... I think you missed the point... You are referring to bandits. People who rob you, torture you, betray you, etc. KoS on the other hand... I am one of those. The shortest killshot I have made in the last 2 weeks, was around 300m. Your sanity/psycho/mental/whatever system has lost all value. Make me wear an armband? What good is that when NOBODY but me ever sees it? etc etc etc. I play a cold-blooded murderer in this game. He does not care what you think, or how your day is. He doesn't feel the need to gain your trust before he kills you. He will KILL YOU as SOON as he can SEE YOU. Oh, you might be thinking what if i run into someone's face while doing this or that... I think it's pretty damn realistic. You don't think that a 7.62 bullet at 3000+ ft/s delivered straight into your goobermouth, causing instant death, is realistic? Oh right, sorry. I don't care what some wanker does after I put his character in the dirt. If someone's day really is ruined by getting killed in a videogame... then they are beyond useless anyway, and no amount of help will change that. And those stats you throw at me... all that does is make me laugh. 81% of them are too useless to even succeed at killing themselves? Sounds like attention-seeking to me...
