I had just done a video settings tutorial here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/185243-what-if-you-have-a-nicer-pc-what-should-your-settings-be-and-what-fps-should-you-expect-a-low-end-pc-heres-a-comprehensive-guide/ It didn't have the FPS overlay in it so I did this video to show FPS with max settings and to show that Object Detail setting is in fact the #1 factor for FPS. Also maybe just me but I think the letter writing part is amusing. :lol: -
What if you have a nicer PC? What should your settings be and what FPS should you expect? A low-end PC? Here's a comprehensive guide.

They were asking you if you wanted them to kill you so you could try to get a different spawn location you muppet! :P Sorry but you just immediately reacted negatively to two guys with no weapons drawn; both of whom are wearing goony green and orange construction helmets. Try not being so reactionary and listen to what people say next time. If you spawn in Solnichny but want a Berezino or Elektro spawn guys like them can be very helpful. It spares you the time of trying to jump off something or the lengthy process of being beaten to death by zeds. "Are you trying to get back to somewhere or..."

Surviving with Hoff continues with Episode 4! I tell a fresh spawn to run in and distract some guys firmly entrenched in a row house and they do a better job than I ever hoped. This footage was all from a month ago and I hadn't learned some of the new eccentricities of Elektro PvP. In fact this was the first time (but not the last) that I'd seen people using the 3-story row houses.

What I would like to see addressed is that it seems when you kill a zombie it instantly spawns back in and seems to remember you. It will run directly back to you over and over until you vacate the area. The consciousness of the zombies are transferring to the newly spawned zombies. What is this witchcraft?! That being said I know this is just a trial-run of the re-spawning system. I am very much looking forward to what is implemented once more robust features have been developed. :beans: Cool beans. -

I present for your consideration a group of guys that met using direct chat in Berezino that spent the better part of an entire day running around together. I personally don't understand people that actively avoid player interactions as I have had some of my best DayZ experiences meeting new players. If you complain about being killed on sight you're a baby. DayZ is what you choose to make of it. Part 2 currently finishing upload. -

GRAMMAR PATROL "Over 300 hours in DayZ now and I have yet to see a hacker. I've seen a few with poor internet connection issues rubber-banding around, but no hackers. Dean mentioned that the game is fundamentally flawed due to the fact that the majority of us hide in the woods with no interaction with other players for fear of being KoS'd! This pretty much ends any "multiplayer" aspect of the game; other than trying not to bump into other players while looting. I find it hard to believe that in only three servers used all had hackers. :) " FIXED This was just for fun. I'm bored this morning.

Here's part 2! Most of the time it would appear none of us know what is actually happening. Part 3 is on the way with quite a bizarre finale. One of the strangest kills I've ever had in DayZ.

I drink a lot pretty much every time I play DayZ. I think you can really hear my slurred speech toward the end of part 1. Part 2 is shorter but I think I pull off a pretty good opening shot on the guy's head.

No, hardcore servers are first-person only. That does remind me though that I have a character on hardcore and I should shoot some footage from that! :lol: -
