i prefer to use Meele, unless i have like 3-4 zombies i used range, best tip is if you seen an zombie, crouch, and attack it when it's not facing you!

Can openers are easy to find, head into elektro, soon as you head into elektro they will be these Shop type houses, go into one and and go into the kitchen, on the side i always find a can opener there.

I'd honestly say that DayZ is much better, Rust has many admin abusers which ban you from servers for no reason.

This is an bug due to location from my experience, say if you log on an UK server play it for a few hours then switch to US you can lost your gear, soon as possible if you switch back to an Offical UK server you'll most likely get your gear back. GIEF BEANZ

I was standing in the Balota airfield, breathing in fresh cold air, suddenly, a stranger with a wrench and m4a1 walked past me, i took him as prisoner, hand cuffed him, he escaped he then handcuffed me, i quickly walked fast as i could and left the Server, this was when i first started, i spawned back in with my Magnum Revolver, shot him in the head, stole his gear and ran off.

Lol, funny story, happened to me too outside a firestation, i had ammo and a gun i just looted and i tried to shoot like 30 times at a zombie and ended up dying because it was ruined.

Alt+ctrl+Delete and end task in DayZ also try ALT+F4, i unlikely think you got hacked, at the moment they is this bug once you run for so long you get teleported to an recent place and it'll make you unable to use your keyboard and mouse, this has happened to me a couple of times, you wasn't hacked.

Try going on low population servers, once reaching Elektro, loot the firestation, hospital, school and then head to Cherno, loot around their and head to the Balota airfield meanwhile looting gas stations on the way, by then, i normally have an backpack and normally in the bunkers in airfield i find a huntiing backpack. Maybe your bad luck

This is suppose to be real life survival, not in-game mechanics, i would like it to be realistic as it can, SHOT in HEAD = DEAD Kill, or be killed my friend.

you will not have to purchase the DayZ again, this is the Early Access Offer which includes the full game alpha and beta, and yes, it'll increase in money mostlikely, but don't expect that soon. P.S Meat pie was faster than me :(

When opening doors, preferable stand to the stand and have your mouse icon facing the door, also stand to the side where the door opens at the side, not the door handle side, this is so campers/bandits cannot shoot you instantly when opening the door. When looting dead bodys make sure you have no gun or item equipped in your hand, kneel down face the body, when the gun symbol shows press TAB and you can access the gear. You don't have to kneel down I don't think it's a bug where you have to manually find the spot, i think it's quite easy to find the spot, maybe just your problem, but i dont know. :huh:

Character wipes and death for no reason on empty server?

Sometimes the game kills you for switching servers (Server Hopping) this is where you switch servers much and the game will just WIPE your gear, thinking they is something wrong Try not logging onto servers which aren't saying your region E.G if your UK go onto UK servers, filter the server name in the Change Server list -
They currently isn't a fix for this, but i found a way how to avoid it, only join servers which have your country name on it, E.G UK once i joined a US server and it wiped my gear, i joined back to EU and my gear returned, they is a server or location bug. :(

Well it depends, once i took somone as an prisoner, told them to drop their M4A1 on the ground and suddenly he spawned a pistol in front of him, (He was an hacker) and he shot me in the face, i shot him around 5 times in the head, NEVER take somone as prisoner in the airfield KILL OR BE KILLED! Unless friendly, DAUM russian killed me -
So, what do you mean, zombies and no players or Zombies and loot but no players, this would be you could easily kill the zombies with the axe, get the loot and switch servers? You might as-well play on a PVE server. :emptycan: > :beans: = :thumbsup:

When a server restarts it restarts instantly at the selected time, when you get the message "No message recived for :000 Seconds" you may exit and go back on the server, when this happens it means the loot has respawned which is a good thing, if your fast enough you can make your way all the way around the Airfield and get your goodies before anyone else loots it then run off =) BEANZ = Empty :emptycan: GIEEF
