Creeder (DayZ)

Yeah, I've had similar stuff happen. I was with my buddy in the ATC tower at Balota airfield, we had some nice gear. I was the sniper (mosin with PU scope) and saw a group of 3 players down by the barracks. They were being very careless, in my opinion, scuttling around with their high-vis backpacks. I started firing and took one of them out, the other two took cover. They tried to locate me, but every time they popped their heads out, I fired at them. Eventually, they combat logged (grumble grumble) I was not too upset though, since I had shot one of them. After a while, my buddy went down to the end of the hangars to check for gear... ...I heard someone coming up the ladder. A newspawn, the guy I had killed form the group of 3, had server hopped to safely get to the ATC building to come and find me. He punched me to death (I know, that's pretty terrible on my part, but I had a mosin at close range and I was panicking). I was so angry that people had abused the system out of spite. Yes, something must be done, but I have no idea what (apart from playing on a private hive and getting people banned for that sort of behaviour). Ugh.
