Unfair to the stealth player? Unfair in any case!

@ Merrick362, Forums are more actively monitored and since this is not a specific bug, but a request to reroll to the previous build I posted this on the forums. Secondly, Shenanigans, wow I would not have expected such an immature response from someone who's relatively active on these forums. The fact this in an alpha is the primary reason I went to ask for an immediate rollback of today's changes, as they are not helping towards making the game better. @ The_Man Rubberbanding means your character gets "warped" back several meters or sometimes even a kilometer, as if you went back through time. It was an issue before this patch, but seems more prevalent now, together with the other things I mentioned.

Please undo today's patch asap In less than 15 minutes I rubberbanded more than 20 times, had my camera jerk around like my char has Parkinson, glitched into or through walls and eventually glitched through the wall in the Electro firestation and fell dead on the floor.

Get some gear, head back to the coast and kill the trolls. Much more satisfying than what they're doing.

Anyone kind enough to share tips on a Mosin
DaniWesNL replied to crazyandlazy's topic in General Discussion
The things I find important about using a Mosin: 1) Always make sure there are 5 rounds in it before you engage anything. 2) Always shoot from a crouched position, cause in prone reloading is bugged and your bullet has a high change to hit the ground or grass. 3) Having a quiet breath makes aiming much easier 4) Be patient before engaging, make sure you have a high chance to hit or fire additional rounds before the target can escape. 5) Secure your surroundings every few minutes 6) Never engage in CQB -
Nah that would make the game way too much of a level based MMORPG. Besides the few times I died and respawned I never encountered a so called bandit, unless I went to danger zones myself, became careless or took too much time looting.

You call it upon yourself by going to the forums, posting a "bug", without searching the forums. Or better yet trying to resolve/replicate it yourself simply by relogging. Kind of like the fresh spawns that are complaining about the kill on sight attitude on the Balota airfield.
-
So what you actually mean is you like the fact people are more dispersed on the map. In that case I totally agree with you, last night I found people at Berezino, NE airfield, NW airfield, Zeleno base and Cherno. None at Balota for a change. Randomness is good.

Mosin nagant Long Range, Magnus or Coriolis efect in game?
DaniWesNL replied to kataro's topic in General Discussion
Long story short: Currently the mosin shoots slightly left of where you're aiming at longer distances. Bullet drop does work, zeroing doesn't as far as I tested about a week ago. -

[SUGGESTION]Make EAST much more interesting

Suggestion: remove all Balota military buildings + tents and place them somewhere east of Stary Sobor -
Very poor performance on GTX780 SLI amd8350
DaniWesNL replied to wse_jack's topic in General Discussion
I run a SLI setup with 2x GTX780 from Asus. Performance of my rig varies per server, but is usually around 30 fps in Cherno and between 70 - 140 fps in small towns or the rural area. The biggest performance increase I noticed is by disabling clouds, additionally running shadows at low or disabled, then disabling MSAA, FXAA & postprocessing. I would expect to get a smoother experience, especially in cities, but have also read that the Arma engine is CPU bound rather than GPU bound. The game apparently assumes your GPU power is limited and uses the CPU in certain aspects. There are some posts on reddit and probably on this forum as well to bypass certain limitations to the engine. I haven't really felt the need yet cause the 30 fps is obviously crap and way too low, but doesn't feel too choppy imo.
