IMO The core DayZ experience should be 1PP only. But once mods are enabled, anyone can have the experience they want. But since so many players are used to 3PP, if this was a thing then it shouldn't be implemented until mods are open. But IMO Bohemias vanilla DayZ should be locked to 1PP. 3PP just seems to go against Bohemias vision of a gritty hardcore survival game in almost every way. -
Full auto weapons have nothing to do with Cernarus atmosphere, nor survival lifestyle

Just needing netting and burlap to craft a ghillie suit doesn't seem right. Now that plant material is an item in game it should be needed to craft a ghillie suit. Hay from hay stacks could also work for a different look. Only makes sense, right? -
Third Person View should be Over-the-Shoulder, NOT a bird's eye view.

I for one absolutely cant stand 3PP servers. I think they have no place in a game like DayZ/Arma, but 3PP isn't going anywhere so there is no point in trying to convince anyone otherwise. 3PP is here to stay, just deal with it and play on the servers you prefer. -
Rope idea is a must. I absolutely hate that you can just magically stick an axe or gun to your back without making a sling first. Has to be one of my biggest pet peeve in DayZ ATM.

Dont tab out until you let the timer count down for a few seconds. I find that only happens when I immediately tab out, but if I wait a few seconds it never happens. -

I like this! Having multiple types of different plant material that could make some variety between the ghillie suits beside in color would be nice. Who knows, the ghillie is new to DayZ, so it may get upgrades in the future. -
Found this on YouTube, I really like it and think something like this would be awesome when the new renderer is complete.

I have this problem right now actually. I think it is a bug that keeps your character shaking as if he or she is cold. Its not just ADS, if you zoom in at your fists, you can see them shaking as well. It is really annoying and I think its not going away until my next character. Im probably going to just hide your gear...kill yourself...respawn....find gear...play without shaking :)

It is the weather system. It is actually quite impressive and it was the first thing that I noticed when I got back on Dayz. I took about a 3 month break after selling my gaming laptop and saved up for my current PC. (i7-4790k with a Corsair H110, Asus Z97 Deluxe mobo, 780ti-sc, 32gb Corsair Vengeance, Cooler Master V850 PSU, in a Corsair 650d) Along with the frame rate I definitely noticed a difference in the weather and the way the game looked in the horizon. Night time clouds look better too, but clouds in general move a little to fast IMO. So happy to see the progress that happened in the past 3 months and Im sooooo glad to be playing Dayz at playable frame rates. -

You can sprint with a gun aimed ILR right? Your aim will be horrible but we can still do it. I say let us have the option to run and strafe while aiming, at least from the hip. ADS while running doesn't make sense to me, but having the option to spray down some cover fire while running seems like an option we should have. -

No, if your in the woods, all you have to do is look at the ground and use your scroll wheel to "collect kindling" No tools necessary! :) Trees, the ground and certain bushes all have sticks now. Tress need an axe, bushes need an axe or a machete, and the ground doesn't need anything. -

Someone popping in to existence out of nowhere makes NO sense and is "highly unrealistic" too, so thats why people want it. -

As the title says. This was a extremely necessary feature that let someone know if a server hopper or someone that got disconnected was logging in right behind you or in your immediate area. Now that this is gone you have no way of knowing if someone just logged in 5 feet from you. Taking that feature out was an extremely stupid move by the devs IMO. I dont get how they didn't realize how important that sound was. Please, bring it or something similar back. -
I think the addition of hunting and cooking are amazing and have the potential to add a great deal of depth to survival in DayZ. But with the abundance of food spawning everywhere, no one really has any real reason to hunt or fish, taking up the inventory space and your melee slot for supplies just to role play, because role playing a survivalist or hunter is the only reason to use those mechanics really, at least IMO. I would love to "have to" kill an animal for a backpack and chop down some trees to make a fishing pole or bow and arrow to get my character started. That kind of gameplay is awesome! Yes I can do that now, but it is much easier and faster to just loot almost any house for food. I have a feeling that this is actually on the road map and will happen, it's just the dev's haven't got to it yet. I mean .45 was just released to stable so there is plenty of hope. So, am I wrong? You guys think it would be better if food was extremely rare? Or should it be a Hardcore only feature? What do you think?

I have never seen this one before, and its the only one of this type that Ive seen so far. Forget the location. So, is it new or did I just completely miss this house in the 700+ hours Ive been playing this game? lol!

What do I mean? :I I have never noticed this house before in all my hours with the SA and was just asking if it was a standard house used throughout Chernarus, or if it was a rare house only used a few times in the SA.

Well yeah, lol! I was obviously referring to the Standalone. But, maybe I should have made a better title and not used the word "new"? lol! I wasn't sure if it was a rare house in the SA or maybe just the one was left over from Arma and not used throughout Chernarus like the other houses?
