This idea really wouldn't change anything, IMO. I always check buildings with the doors open. An open door means nothing in DayZ. People close doors behind them...I know I do. Not everybody needs the same things as you. Some people will just open a door and not go in. You never know what someone else missed.

Until the mouse acceleration gets fixed, using a controller over K&M isn't that much of a disadvantage, IMO.

I would much rather see a body clutching an M4 in a house than one on a kitchen table, but like I said in the OP, the chance of finding an M4 on a kitchen table would be next to none. Finding them in a locked gun case or cabinet would be better than laying around. -

I said in the OP that guns would have a way less of a chance to randomly spawn, like extremely rare. -

The only issue I have with the books, is that there is way to many of them and take up spots that other items could spawn at. There is no need for the amount of books that are in DayZ atm. I would honestly like them to be somewhat rare, but thats just me.

I was thinking something similar. Remove zoom from RMB while holding a melee weapon and use it to block, horizontal swing or a power attack. I just don't see the need to zoom while in a melee fight.

The only way I would like to see it changed is an animation that lets you switch primaries without having to manually drop one to switch them. The whole animation would take a good 5 seconds, then you would have switched your primaries without having to drop one first. I dont think you should be able to run a full speed with 2 primaries, there has to be a trade off. It would be the same as it is now, just you dont have to drop one to switch them.

Yes staying away from the coast is good advice, but I can get fully geared going from electro to cherno to bolota all being along the cost. You just need to know where to look. I can be set before leaving cherno most of the times and not even touch bolota. -

I completely agree. I think all it needs now is just a bunch of subtle things that add to the mood, but not to much over the top things like ships and planes. Things like car and helicopter crashes...and maybe fuck up the inside of houses some more. Im sure some shit went down in the first year of it all going down. -
First off, I would like to see the bayonet retractable. Second I would like to make use of the launcher that the model in DayZ uses. Once grenades get added, we could sometimes find these, and on a more rare occasion one with a grenade attached to it. Or these: (I realize that this is an AKM in the picture but it uses the same launcher...I think.) They could also add the extended mag: Then there's scopes and mounts: Um...ok!

There is really no need for it since bodies disappear after 10 min. -
Can iron sights magically let you zoom IRL? No. So why should it let you in a game were realism is so important? I think zoom in general should be nerfed. RDS should not have a zoom at all. You should only be able to zoom while standing still, if you zoom while running the head bob should be extremely high and everything should shake and be hard to focus on.

It's new and still needs extensive testing. It wont be this often once it has had more testing.

Loot respawn should only be on regular servers. I do not want loot to be easy to find all the time. I want to struggle to survive, not be pampered by the game giving me loot every ten minutes or whatever the time would be. Please no loot respawn in HC servers! -
