I used to only play low pop servers. But now that I dont, I still have a hard time finding people, and I always play on 20 people or above servers. Unless I go to Electro of course.

Yeah! They could add a map that lets you cycle through different spawn points like Battlefield does! There can even be a giant "Deploy" button too! ;) -
I agree, layers would be great. Maybe any item that is stored in an under layer would take longer to take out? Either way, IMO there should be 3 layers allowed: under shirt over shirt vest Basically the way it is now just let us keep our

Same for grocery stores. Really anything with a raised floor or second story. They will get stuck in the floor.

Funny thing, I was watching a stream with Dean playing about a month ago or so, and when he killed a zombie he said something like: "wow!, I didn't know zombies disappear that quick, lol!" I just shook my head a laughed. Which is all you can do at this game, or else you will just get frustrated which isn't worth it. -

I agree. I think as long as you keep yourself fully hydrated, you should be able to last much much longer until you starve to death. The time it takes now would only make sense to me if you had not had any water at all, but as long as you have a hydrated status, you should be able to last quite awhile IMO. -
I had this idea as well but I was thinking that you could only shoot while moving if you are wearing a chest holster. Any pistol that you have in a chest holster will be able to be pulled out while running to suppress anyone that is firing at you while you are running from them. Of course it would be very inaccurate, but it doesn't need to be. Also if you have a pistol in a chest holster you should be able to shoot while climbing ladders also. Plus it should allow you to pull the pistol out faster than one that is in your backpack. It should take much longer to pull a pistol out of you bag then from a chest holster. I had this idea to give the chest holster a trade off for wearing it over a vest, because now the chest holster is only good until you find a vest or if you just want it for looks.

I hope so. But Im afraid it will be no different from the mod. At least at first. Im sure they will tweak it in for further realism once in Beta, but Im just guessing. -
Opposite for me. I look for clans to try and takeout. Finding a clan stalking them and planning your attack is some of the most fun I have playing lone wolf. Being out numbered is fun IMO.

Well female sounds are relatively new so they may be bugged atm and not working right. I never use a female character so I wouldn't know.

As long as it is a building that you would find in the Czech Republic Im all for more variations on what you find from town to town. We need more unique buildings that you only find in one or two places.

What?! Name another game that has a worse melee system than DayZ that isnt 10 years old or more.

You would only be disappointed. Just pretend the pitch fork is a katana, because it would act and feel exactly the same. Something like a katana which would have the expectation of slicing something or cutting something off, which will never happen in DayZ will only disappoint, IMO. The melee system is so utterly horrible that there is no need to add anymore melee weapons IMO. Honestly if I could pick one thing to add or fix to dayZ it would be a better melee system. Even over adding vehicles. Im not even asking for an awesome one. Even a "bad" system would be so much better than the complete pile of horse shit that is the DayZ melee system.

Pretty sure it has to do with the zombies and how far they can hear weapons fire. As of now every weapon even the Amphibia which has a built in suppressor is heard by zombies within 100 meters. At least according to this mans tests:

Im pretty sure once hunting is implemented that can food and fruit will become alot more rare. IMO once hunting is in all other food should be extremely rare forcing players to hunt and pick berries. -
I agree. I also don't think you should be able to hear whats going on after your dead. Unconscious yes, (even though you wouldn't IRL because your unconscious) but once your dead it should be black and silence, nothing else.

That sound at a low volume would be great for when wearing a raincoat. Something softer for any shirt or jacket thats cloth. -

This or just a simple sound effect of rain hitting your clothes. Just a subtle sound, nothing to loud and it could even sound different depending on the type of clothing you have on. A rain coat would be a louder than a tac shirt kind of thing. I play FPP servers only so a visual que for your character for any game mechanic doesn't really help for FPP. Having both a sound and visual que like wet textures or water drops on the screen would be ideal. But honestly do we really need anything to tell us were getting wet? I mean, you can see that it is raining, what more do you need? If it's raining, and your outside, then your getting wet. If your standing under something then your not getting wet anymore. I don't get the need for the text in the first place.
