We can only hope and wait, but until then we just have to find ways to make the best out of what we have now. I think we should hold more community events that people can sign up and take place in. Just need to think of different types of things to do other than just arranging firefights, which is fun, but Im sure there's a lot more things that we can come up with. -

Sounds like you've been hiding out in lowpop servers all geared up taking screenshots...which is fine if your having fun. Leave all your gear in the middle of the road in Elektro and start a completely different type of character than the one you have now...lemme guess, TTsKO and an M4, right? Make up a character in your head and give him a story then try and keep your actions within that characters limits, whatever they may be. IMO if you can do that, you can have fun with DayZ for ever, even in it's current bare state.

"end game" is not here yet. You need a good imagination to keep DayZ fresh at it's bare bone state. If your with friends, just roaming around BS'ing is fun enough. But going lone wolf all the time takes some Role Playing to keep it fun IMO. -

In a game with functional zombies...yes. In a game where zombies run fast through walls and can hit you while facing the other way or on a different floor all together, or my new favorite when you run away from a zombie and think your safe only to get rubberbanded back to a zombie hitting you over and over...no fluckin way! -

I agree! I think there should be a limit to how far you can turn based on your waist twisting limit. Once your body twists past the point your body allows you to then you slow down drastically and your feet shift your viewpoint instead of your waist. Basically when you ADS (Alt) is automatically held down and you can only twist 1:1 in the area your waist can twist without shifting your position with your feet. I feel this would help a lot with the realism. -
Best version of this idea yet! But I don't think would ever make it into DayZ. IMO DayZ is all about absolute freedom to do whatever you want without any consequences.

Just turn the sensitivity down. I thought it was to fast at first too, then I adjusted the sensitivity in the options and it feels fine now. -

I think it would be a great idea to have the most recent and past patchnotes along with upcoming changes displayed after the warning at the main menu every time you start the game. What do you think?

Why? It is at the main menu, who cares if you have to look at it? Just click play, or change server and it goes away, like magic! You just have to see the background behind your character? Making it mandatory to look at makes it visible for those who complain about not being able to find them. -

I never have this problem. Getting healthy is extremely easy to do, and healing after getting hurt is basically automatic as long as you are fully energized, and I mean way past the point of seeing bright green. Your max energized is way past the point of first seeing the bright green status. Your max energized it like 20,000 units while your max stomach and water are 4,000 units and you get the bright green energized at 4,000 units (dark green is at 2,500) so that gives you 16,000 extra units of energy you can store! Even after you get bright green energized, keep eating whenever you can until your stuffed. Run around for 20 minutes and repeat. When I make an effort to keep eating and store that extra energy, I notice I can take an extra bullet or 2 sometimes. All info is from before that last big update, but I cant imagine it being to different. measured in units Stomach Water Energy Max = 4,000 Max = 4,000 Max = 20,000 Stuffed = 1,800 Thirsty - Green = 2,000 Hungry = 600 Fully Stuffed = 2,800 Yellow = 1,000 Very Hungry = 300 Vomiting = 3,300 Red = 0 Starving = 100 Slow blood re-gen - Energized - 2,000 energy (dark green) & 1,500 water (not thirsty = no status indicator) (1 blood per second) Full Blood re-gen - Energized - 4,000 energy (bright green) & 2,500 water (dark green, hydrated) (3 blood per second) Hydrated

I hope you are using heavy sarcasm here. You should never be able to craft an M4 out of rocks and shit. That is just ridiculous, IMO. Rust's crafting system works for Rust, but it doesn't fit in DayZ IMO. Crafting weapons such as bows, maces and clubs, grenades, anything that makes sense and can be done IRL is the kind of things that IMO fit in DayZ's crafting system. -

Once improvised weapons and hunting are fully implemented and have been tested for awhile food will become very rare forcing players to hunt and pick berries. Weapons will become "extremely rare" especially M4's forcing players to craft weapons. The same way they had tons of backpacks in the game at first, then they introduced improvised backpacks and have been slowly reducing the backpack spawns forcing players to have to craft their first backpack. Unless I try for a military base first I find myself finding a rope and burlap before a backpack more and more these days. We have yet to experience survival in DayZ, trust me it WILL get much, much better and regaining blood will not be quite so easy in the future.

I used to only play low pop servers. But now that I dont, I still have a hard time finding people, and I always play on 20 people or above servers. Unless I go to Electro of course.
