I would rather see a small ice chest that takes up 4 slots and holds up to 6 sodas.

If you found Bolota airfield, then the big one your looking for which is NW airfield is directly north from Bolota airfield. Get a compass and just stay on a northern route from Bolota.

This and tactical gestures is a Must Have IMO. I think this should be priority over hats and things.

Definitely! Every time thunder sounds, they should change the path they were on and try and follow the sound.

I agree. This game is far from finished, I was just curious as to how many others noticed this as well. I also agree that KOS is a very important element of DayZ, without it the fear would be gone, and this game would loose what makes it so amazing. -

If, the game goes to console, it wouldn't be until the PC version is completely done. So years from now. And C'mon you guys fighting over PC and consoles? Really? PC is better we all know that. But these consoles (Im really talking about the PS4) are definitely powerful enough to run this game when its fully done. It will never be as good as PC of course but having DayZ on console after it's completely done on PC is not going to hurt anyone. I do 99.9% of all my gaming on my PC but I still like my PS4 and cant wait for new games to come out, (exclusives of course) I just hate the attitude some PC gamers have toward consoles. It reminds me of 3PP vs. FPP, just play how you want and stop bitching to others that dont. -

I agree! I also think when using a melee weapon RMB does a horizontal swing. There is no need to zoom while swinging an axe. Having an alternate attack would fit nicely IMO and would help with the silly dancing around each other during melee fights. -

Unless the latest patches just fixed it you can. It's just alot harder to do. Doing it while strafing (using "A" or "D" instead of "W") works a lot easier IMO. -
I was thinking this as well! Maybe the tool you use depends on how long it takes to heal. Like if you use a knife it would be cleaner than digging it out with a screwdriver, so the wound is less torn up and will heal faster. Having to actually treat a wound instead of just bandaging would be a great fit IMO.

I agree, I have a feeling this will be changed again. Nothing is set in stone atm. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me and others are experiencing this as well. -
^This. Dean has said one of the major causes of lag in the mod was zombies, and how they were rendered the same as a character with multiple layers and textures. In the SA they have made all zombies one model and one texture, so the only way to do this would be once a player does turn, they turn onto one of the common zeds, and it wouldn't look like the player did.

^This! KOS is an extremely important part of the Dayz experience. -
^This! IMO, it doesn't matter how many zeds you have, if they are as limited as only having one basic swing attack animation then they will only be more annoying than anything. I'm hoping they will be completely redone from the ground up, because if they don't more zeds wont be as game changing as we want. If the zed's could grab on to you and bite you while having more than one attack and a jumping version of the same attack then it would help alot. Imagine 500 zeds' all doing the same animation over and over again. It would look like a Thriller music video more than a zombie apocalypse.

Im talking gameplay wise not lore wise. IMO, tanks don't belong in this game. -
I dont understand why the damage output of all melee weapons other than the axes are so unrealistically low? I mean who's idea was it to define the damage ratings for each weapon the same as a piece of styrofoam?

Why don't you play the game and find out? But the answer is really yes and no. Zed's have increased in numbers slightly and their tracking has improved quite a bit. But all in all they are still very very easy to deal with and aren't much more than an annoyance. But I do think it's quite a bit better than it was at release.

I keep hearing that making zeds extremely hard would help, but currently all the zeds do is swat their arms at you, so making them really difficult would be really difficult since they are quite limited and can't do complex movements. If they could add grab and biting attacks that would help, but an enemy with only one type of movement would be very difficult to make a challenge without just buffing the damage output of their attacks. After they redo zeds and the way they attack, I could see that helping. But the reality is, KOS is here to stay and is a huge part of what makes DayZ so much fun. I mean would you have as much fun without the constant fear of the possibility of someone watching you through a LRS? -
