When I carry multiple canteens, I put one of them in my hotbar, and it will use the next one when the first is empty without switching them out in the hotbar. Same goes for filling them, When I push the hotkey for my canteen(s) if I have more than one I can fill it then use the scroll wheel again and it will let me fill the next one as long as I have an empty canteen in my gear. Anyone else notice this? Not sure if it was a bug, but I think thats the way it works?

I need to get used to this new damage modeling. It seems to easy to me now. I rarely die anymore. I just get shot and run to cover, and 90% of the time Im still healing and 60% of the time I don't even bleed? Much preferred having to bandage everytime I was hit by a zed or bullet. Yes this is more realistic?...I guess, but I really liked one maybe 2 bullets would take a person down as long as it's in a lethal spot. Just my opinion :)

But IMO the space bar should give you a horizontal swing instead of block, but speaking of the axe block. Did you know it can stop a bullet? Check this out! - Start at :50 secs in. -

Well since my post got taken down because it was taken from PC Gamer I thought I would make a post to summarize what is in the article, and since someone on Reddit already beat me to it, I will just pass this along. Credit to PyroDragn on Reddit Picked out some of the most pertinent points for people looking for NEW features. Quotes are from the text, attempted to maintain as much context as I can without too much copy/pasting: Bows, arrows, and thrown items/weapons ...bows and arrows, knives and spears are all on the list – along with a physics-based throwing system that can be used inoffensively (throwing a can of beans to a friend in need) or offensively (throwing a can of beans at someone’s head). We’re going to start simple, with bicycles – they’re slow, and there’s not much to them – then from there we’ll head out.” More 'appropriate* difficulty for running vehicles, including helicopters “We won’t be able to do everything, but the idea is to provide a much more DayZ-appropriate vehicle experience. The helicopter becomes this amazing thing to see – not just something you find and get in and turn on.” Underground bases Something else he’s thinking about long-term is living space. “I want to go with underground bases because it solves the problem of space on the surface. Even though DayZ has a huge map, it’s still not big enough for what we’re talking about. Player run laboratory for virus research I’d like there to be – dare I say it – in-game content where you create a lab and try to keep that running. Suddenly resource gathering becomes very difficult, and very important. Being mobile becomes critical, because your base is static. One of your goals would be researching the zombie virus and how it mutates, as well as researching and even manufacturing new viruses. Extended moddability I’ve been looking for ways to add user-created content without them having to make a mod and distribute a data file. How are they supposed to add it in the future if they don't test it out in the experimental (testing) servers? They have to try it first. Everything is subject to change! C'mon people. -

Your supposed to be still until the animation is complete or else you can stop in mid animation. At least that's how it's supposed to be. -

Trust me...they will NOT be easy to fly. He will be using the model from Take On Helicopters,which is a heli sim,so yeah...really hard to fly and next to impossible to maintain. -

get used to it :) Guns and military equipment will eventually become extremely rare and hard to find. Red brick building with a blue stripe, Piano building, Large office building that looks like a hospital that say TEC on it. Man those things are everywhere! You just need to know where to look. :D But congrats! Shes a great gun! :thumbsup:

I agree, but I'm pretty sure the reason they are putting this in now is because it's easy, or at least a lot easier than vehicles or the other major updates we so desperately need. But seriously....give us some bikes, then let us have a heart attack. It's all testing to see how things go and work. Who knows they may scrap it all together. But we honestly don't know how it will work out in the end. As for a stamina system, that is already confirmed. Stamina will be a thing...how soon will we get it? That's a different story, but until more pieces get implemented the puzzle we have now wont always make sense until more pieces are added to make a more complete picture. Dean and the devs can see the whole picture...or at least most of it...we can't, so it may not make sense to us why and when some things get added. -

I don't find anything wrong with it atm, considering how new it is and how little it has been tested. But using your scroll wheel to see if someone has a pulse and if it's irregular then you can use the defib to bring them back seems fine to me. Not perfect, but better than it was, before.....not working at all. -

Some of the most fun I've had in this game was during one of the experimental builds a few patches back were the servers weren't restarting and loot was seriously scarce. You had to actually find places that people missed or hadn't found yet, which was actually difficult. Actually felt like surviving! -
I never use past the 5th one personally. But I couldn't see why this would hurt anything or get in anyone's way that didn't want to use it.

I think once ragdoll physics are implemented, dragging bodies will be much more of a possibility, IMO. -

Anyone else getting half the fps they normally get in experimental, but all good in stable? Not complaining at all, just want to see how common it may be. My specs aren't the best but aren't the worst. - MSI GT-60 Laptop: http://www.cnet.com/laptops/msi-gt60-0ne-220us/4507-3121_7-35406334.html PS: my CPU is only 2.3GHz, but it has a maximum of 3.3GHz? Anyone know how I can get that extra 1.0GHz out of it?
