Should have been more clear. I meant you run a little faster than you do now with a rifle, not faster than you do without anything.

I agree, but if your packpack was as good as a bi-pod, then there would be no reason for a bi-pod.

It would be nice to have options via the action menu. Like: open door open door quietly bash door open peek would be nice to be able to bash a door open that someone is on the other side of to knock them down. Or peek inside to see what on the other side. I remember hearing that Dean was thinking about removing the action menu, I really hope he doesn't, I just think it needs some tweaking, not removing.

Maybe you can run faster with a rifle in your hands, but get tired way faster? I really think once the stamina system is introduced, these things will get a lot of changes.

I just tend to rush people a lot more now if they hide in a building. Works 90% of the time. Most people don't expect you to follow them inside a building. -

Different eating animation for packed food

I dont think will see actual food coming out of the container and in your mouth, but a separate texture for opened items like the tins of food for every item that you open would be nice. Also sounds of cans and bags opening would be awesome as well. In time Im sure things like this will come. Only been 2 1/2 months in pre alpha so, we have alot to see yet. -
As in every postapo world Zombies should get dmg only from headshots/headhits.

I agree, purely to add more of a challenge to zeds. Dismemberment would be a great addition if it can be done. I think if you knock a zed down and swing your axe at its head it should come off killing it. You should be able to still kill a zed without a headshot, it would just take awhile. Still early zeds will change.....someday. -
Yep, me also. 90% of the time when I leave a server or try to quit to my desktop, the game crashes.

Nudity I can take or leave it. Shit is something we should wait and see how Dean wants to implement it before we get upset for it being in game. I honestly dont think DayZ will have your character actually taking a shit then throwing it at player. I know we have seen the models in the game files, but that really doesn't mean shit. It may never make it to the game or it may be animal shit. I just dont give a shit about this topic enough to really discuss it until we hear more about it actually being in game other than a model from the game files of an alpha game. -
Are you saying that each slot has a weight limit and you can keep stacking items in the same slot until the weight for that slot has been reached? Not a bad idea? I would rather see the weight for each item in the "inspect" window instead of all over the inventory screen, just my opinion.

Because this isn't Arma, it is a survival sim. I myself can't wait for bows and improv weapons to be the common weapons and the military and higher end weapons to be next to impossible to acquire. -

Im pretty sure what ever the Arma engine will allow they will out in. Dean and the dev's want this game to be as open and realistic as possible and if people ask why is this in a game, the answer will be because you can do it IRL.

I agree. How many actual steps are involved in splitting an M4? If it is more than 3 I could see just having to right click the M4 and each step is an option given to you one by one each time you right click on it. Something like this, but the right steps...I just made these up on assumptions to demonstrate my idea:) 1st Right click...remove screw 2nd Right click...pull pin 3rd Right click...spit weapon 4th Right click...separate parts I feel doing each step manually fits the dayz mechanics, like transferring items from one backpack to another. having a transfer all, isn't as realistic as putting each item in the new bag one by one like you would IRL. Same principle would apply to the gun splitting.

Myself not having any experience with guns, look at it like my character is shooting pretty much how I would IRL. So it is very immersive for me! :) -
The main reason why people had this issue is because you cant jumbo when your fist are up, and everyone used to run with there fist up because you could run faster. It should happen alot less now except that you still benefit from running with your fists up, you dont run faster but you will never run out of breath. EDIT: What I would really like to see is if you vault while crouched you would crawl over a fence with your body against it the whole time all slow and sneaky like. Kinda like this:

I think you shouldn't die from a fall, unless it's high enough to kill you...I know brilliant idea right? You should break your legs and possibly an arm as well, but only if your 20 plus feet, give or take some considering your weight. I don't think you should die from it. But it is sill early and they have to have things go wrong and not work to get things to work the way they should.
