I had the same problem, it was caused by video's running in the background (my youtube song playlist). The second I closed down youtube in the background my drivers work perfectly fine again.

I have and still stand by my apology for my fellow admin's behavior and I assure you it will not happen again, I have since removed the language rule and we will cope with what we have. You must understand that the reason why we had the rule of english/french is because many people know those languages and not many people know russian. The reason why the community and my admins are so angry at your group is because they were constantly seen speaking in russian on sidechat even after constantly being asked to stop, this whole problem began when Irokez was warned and then banned for what happend. As you can see: Online players: Irokez Kenma Гиви Зурабович Irokez has waited out his 3-day ban and is now back inside the server, there is also another russian in there. We allow anyone and everyone into the server, we just have a set baseline of rules that we ask all players to follow. But your group failed to follow them and we were forced to the action which we took.

We did NOT ban you for small violations of chat, we banned you for many reasons which I have posted multiple times in this thread. The violations of chat were one small part of the ban, you have used many exploits in our server which were unfair to other players in many ways.

If that is truly what you want then on behalf of my administration team I apologize for his behavior, I already told you he will be warned and asked to calm down in future. I have not tried to justify his behavior because I cannot. I have however justified the reasons behind the bans.

Yes Zelus is a high ranking admin I never said he wasn't, he has access to the RCON and server panel just like the other admins. We have dedicated server's which we sell to customers so we have a TCAdmin panel which allows us to reboot our servers quickly and easily, these details are given out to our high ranking admins because I cannot be online at all times to reboot the server when it is needed.

Voilala, he is not the manager of the server - I am. He is just one of many admins in our community and he will be warned to calm down in future and to let me handle these cases. I am not here to justify what is seen in that video, I am here to justify why your group was banned.

You are reminded about being Russian because we had a rule which we enforced: "English/French Only In Sidechat" Our admins asked you repeatedly to speak english and not russian, this is not racist, we had that rule to make sure everyone can understand eachother in well-known languages. The reason you were confronted about being russian is because that's what you are... that's the language you were speaking so obviously they are going to warn you for it.

Voilala, my community is of all cultures, none of us are racist in the slightest, sure we get mad at people for stupid things like what your group has done, but I don't understand everything your trying to say in the slightest, only a few things are clear. DayZ has no rules, but the mod is alpha and there are exploits and glitches which you have abused, they are the cause of the ban. I personally don't care what country you are from, the rules which you broke apply to every single person, and you were given fair chance to stop what you were doing. The admin Zelus has been pissed off to a great extent with what your group has been doing and that is the only explanation I can give for his actions, sure his words may have been a bit rough and too far, but his actions however were just. On a side not Ex1le, thank you for the help and direction on this issue. Our server was quite low population so I have edited the MOTD to remove the rule and have rebooted our server. Will make a post on our home forums tomorrow to inform the admins of this change.

We had the rule for language on all of our other servers for other games, we just carried it over here for the sake of having a common language as default so everyone has a very high chance of understanding eachother. People seem to be damning and classifying the server due to the actions of 1 person yet we have a huge admin team and the server is still flourishing very well, as are our other servers with the same admin team. I understand some people are more sensitive than others but the problems we have had from this group in our server are seriously maddening, the extents they go through to annoy and rule-break is astonishing...

Ah great thanks, will make sure to remove that rule on the next server reboot then and inform the admin team of the change. I don't personally see enforcing of languages in sidechat as racist but more of a way for people to understand eachother, because the server is located in france so obviously it will attract french players, but I set the rule of english/french only as they are understood by the vast majority of players, and being sidechat I would have rather most people understand eachother. I guess right now I have no choice but to follow the rule set by the devs and will get this sorted out tomorrow, it is very late and I will be sleeping soon.

Correct, you are not allowed that rule. Currently there are very few things we can ban for but luckily 1. and 2. of your previous points are bans. I'm unsure of number five, perhaps i have catching up to do :). Could you point me to the official word on that rule and I will have it removed on the next server restart. Thanks for letting me know about that one, guess I will have to put up with it. It may or may not have been commented on officially, but I refuse as a host to allow players to store their vehicles far outside the gameworld, to me that is an exploit which ruins other peoples fun in the server, tons of people ask me about the server's vehicles and when they can expect heli's and they have shown a huge interest in them, but if a group are hoarding them all out the map then they have no chance of ever coming across one in normal gameplay. And to me it is warrant a ban if they do not bring them back inside the map, along with the other points I feel the ban on these guys was justified.

Ex1le, the ban was not given for purely and only speaking russian, the things which contributed to their ban were in no specific order as follows: 1 - Disconnecting during combat on multiple occasions 2 - Insulting the administrators and their decisions 3 - Speaking russian on chat even after being asked on multiple occasions to only speak in English/French so the majority of players can understand, considering everyone hears it, this rule is very reasonable. 4 - Spamming chat with absolute nonesence 5 - Collecting a large quantity of vehicles and storing them far outside the map bounds, so that the average players has absolutely no way of recovering them The above ban reasons aswell as a few other minor issues were what lead to their group inevitably being permanently banned from our server. Prior to this we also temp-banned one of their group members so that he could reflect on what he did and then return after the 3day ban to continue playing. But they have gone way too far for our liking and we will keep these bans enforced.

@Radek, You have more than 4 vehicles outside map borders, I know that for a fact, you also still claim that the server reboot has reset every single vehicle, this is impossible. You and your group were banned for previously described actions. Our server restart as everyone can see, is to ease stress from the server after long runtime which all servers must do, our server had been running for a fair few hours and we like to restart it every 4-6 hours or so. All of the fast reboots or short runtime's of the server are due to either server or hive issues recently, causing mass lag and reboots/shutdowns quite frequently. Our server runs very stable most of the time, if anyone is curious as to the server slot changes (50 > 25 > 30 > 50) This is because when we first had our server up a few patches ago, people experienced massive FPS issues and we reduced the limit, we have happily increased the server back up to 50 as the FPS issue seems to have been resolved or caused by the server running too long. As I posted, me rebooting our server will not and HAS NOT reset any of your vehicles or equipment, nobody on our server has reported any major issues caused by a server reboot and I can guarantee that all of your vehicles are directly where you left them. This data is stored in the server and I or my admins cannot alter this or roll it back. And you did not rob me of my camp, I have been busy with many other things lately and the little times I have played I run 'suicide lives' in which I expect to die within a few hours. Whenever I have any decent equipment I carry it at all times, what our clan had stored in that camp were basics and alternate weapons, none of us are in the slightest affected by what happened and that is all part of the game. You seem to think that by constantly bringing it up that something will change? The entire server community has had issues with your group not following any of our rules and have caused everyone to become Anti-Russian towards your group, we have other russians on the server who gladly accept our rules and are speaking English on chat the best they can which I thank them for. The bans given from the administrator Zelus were completely justified, you have spammed our server with Russian after constantly being told to stop and to speak english or french only, you have gathered a large amount of vehicles and put them all far outside of the map and we have had constant reports and have personally seen first-hand that your group disconnects constantly while in a firefight. In regards to the videos posted, he is very forward with his opinions, but this was done for the better of the server and our community, the rest of the community are taken care of and we address as many issues as possible, our admin team at Ethereal Knights are a close-knit team who handle all problems personally. We founded the community a few years ago and have successful servers which are full most of the time, our admin methods have been questioned but ultimately work perfect and have always been for the best. Most problems must be tackled head on, such as your group. This issue with your group has been long-term and we have had report after report, your acting like you own the place and that nothing can be done to you, but we will not sit back and watch as your group abuses glitches to ruin everyone else's fun, and storing everything far outside of the map inaccessible to the average player is completely out of order in my opinion and we will NOT tolerate it. The ban on Irokez was given by myself and it was a 3-day ban for insulting server admins after being asked to stop, which he did not. The entire server community hates all of you which is seen very verbally on a daily basis, we have had none-stop problems from your group and the bans will remain, the community is much happier with you gone and the server can resume normal play. We have many regulars on the server who rejoice at these bans, our server does not have many rules at all, yet you guys manage to break almost every single one atleast once a day. We don't care for fair PVP combat and encourage groups to work together to survive at any cost, but what I have seen of you is downright sickening. You also claim that we have restarted the server to roll back the saves, we CANNOT roll back the server to delete any vehicles or equipment, all of this data to my knowledge is inside the hive and we physically cannot alter this, a server reboot will practically do nothing at all to your vehicles or tents, they might just get rolled back maybe 5 - 15 minutes maximum based on server and vehicle saves. If you bothered to provide any of the conversation from before the video, then you will know that the server reboot was to update the server to a 50slots which I was informed to do on IRC and that our server was not permitted to be 30slots.

Our server was last restarted about an hour or 2 ago, it filled up instantly with 30/30 players from all around the world. Our ping limits cater for everyone and we still have many russian players in the server, we even have a large amount of US based players.

That would be an empty box... ? The server is online and running fine with 30/30 players. Only Irokez was temp-banned like I said.

@icomrade Will have a look into it I guess, might need to hop back on IRC for help regarding it, because I'm using R4Z0R's scripts and BEC with auto shutdown in order to do my auto reboot, and the profanity filter doesn't seem to get loaded in either, must just be a config error I've made I guess :/ @Irokez The only person who was banned was you for spamming chat with profanity/capslock none-sense, you were warned repeatedly and just kept going. Oh and in regards to the video, yes you spammed that in chat too and yes I saw it, but what you don't realize is that I have barely played on the server and what you stole were the vehicles from my friend's camp, you seem to think I personally care more by spamming the same link. The vehicles are out there somewhere and they will find them again, it's all part of the game. @Asus You are free to play as you were asked to stop speaking russian and you did, but Irokez refused to listen to admins and his ban will not be removed, he can wait it out until the temp ban has expired naturally.
