Can confirm that the makeshift hunting bow(Not the crossbow), is in game. However it's unfinished. There's always an arrow knocked even when the weapon is on your back, and i'm not sure the arrows are in game yet.

Started on windows 7, no issues. Then i bought a proper PC and it came with windows 8, still no problem. Then i upgraded to windows 8.1, during installation windows decided to delete all the game executables it could find. Verified the game cache for them all and t'was fixed. In short, no issues with running DayZ on a windows 8 pc.

I enjoyed the ace mods bullet ballistics alot more simply because sniping was an amazing challenge. I'd really like to see Dayz SA implement this since they're going for realism(Morphine excluded).

If i'm with my clan i'll kill anyone on sight. But when i'm lone wolfing it i often head to the coast and hand over a majority of my inventory to friendly freshspawns.

My guess is that the suppressors are just place holders like the bayonets, pretty but useless when it's attached to a weapon.

Did you at least get your money back?

Glitches have been fixed hopefully, so it'll be bandits with handcuffs and rotten tomatoes that you'll want to avoid.

When you scroll wheel to access inventory and don't see a option to hide the body it means they're still alive. You should have swung a few more times.

When it comes to night time, grey clothing is WAY better camo than black. Black silhouettes you a night time whereas grey blends in better with shadows.

I'd say have 2 different variants. One military grade ghillie which has a spawn chance equivalent to that of an FNX45 holo sight, and another patchwork civilian ghillie which is only craftable. Also make the items required for crafting alot more difficult to find.

Currently been alive for a week now. :D FINALLY FOUND A MOSIN! Also found a bipod and long range scope to go with it. But now that i have everything i could ever want, i'm at a loss at what i should do next. Should i head back south towards the major cities and hunt down those pesky KOS Bandits that target fresh spawns? Or should i stick to the back roads of the north and hunt Zeds until my friends arrive? Suggestions are welcome. :)
