Generally I think the former owner of the body should be excluded from looting. Gamewise I think the jogg-back-and-loot-yourself approach is counterproductive. (And yes I would also have quite some load of eq already that would be worth the sprinting.... But I think people are more vigilant if they know that they won't get back what they loose unless their friends collect it. Btw. can you carry corpses in the game? -

You can tell a lot by watching their hands.... if they are raised high above their heads in a friendly fashion, they are probably harmless for the moment. If they hold any kind of sharp, blunt or fire-arm-like-object, it is high time for caution. Be afraid. Be very afraid. -
Unnecessary to mention that a binocular would be in no respect a rare article in that area, the game is set in...

I myself got a bit tired to start up with chars and as soon as I had some decent stuff that made me interesting fetched some bullets after a "friendly"-call from the other side. Due to that I use to server hop until I have an axe, a firearm and a suitable backpack, so I see at least a small chance to survive longer than 5 minutes. After that, i stick to one server until I happen to be too stupd once again or run into a bunch of hackers. :) -
All I would utter is "Alpha" while pointing out that we will loose it for a thousand more times until release-day :)

I would seriously suggest to use TeamSpeak for among-friends-communication to not draw attention to you by chattering....

I guess a console-command like 'stuck' or the ability to enable a stuck-key which teleports the avatar about 10 or 20 meters away should fix that problem:)
