Yes you will. It's best to buy it now also, as the game may raise in price when it's fully released, similar to what happened with Minecraft. (That's not definite though, I haven't seen any devs say it but it's still a possibility.)

Bolt action sniper rifles, assault rifles such as the Scar-H, M16A4 etc. would all be cool.

1. Yes, it changes. The map is very large and so you can be lucky or unlucky in finding other players. 2. I'm not sure if food/water actually gives you blood in the standalone, but if it does then you might just have to eat/drink a lot more to see a noticeable difference. 3. Simply: by running - or if you don't have any decent gear or you have gear that you don't mind losing, let a zombie kill you or jump off a high point to possibly get a better spawn.

I managed to run Arma 2 DayZ MOD perfectly fine, and I am happy with my performance on DayZ Standalone too. I've been searching around for the last hour or two and finally managed to get myself some cool looking gear. M4A1 w/ ACOG (slightly broken) and some other mods that I've forgotten. Magnum (the new pistol that was released today) Ballistic Helmet Rocket Aviators UK Assault Vest Cargo Pants Some kind of camouflage jacket that goes over, forgot its name too. Black Gloves Hunting Backpack 3-4 mags for my M4A1, 0 for my Magnum atm. No food. No water. Misc items such as can opener, etc. I love how you can combine all your clothing together to really personalize your character, really cool feature. Hopefully I can actually come across someone friendly to 'roll' with, last two 'friendlies' weren't as friendly as I would of liked. P.S: Nope, I'm not new too DayZ, started playing in the early dayz of the mod. (best pun ever) SO, has anyone found any ammo for the Magnum yet or have any cool gear to tell me about? :)

The Athlon X2 270 was my previous processor. I now have the Bulldozer FX-6100 and saw around 10-20 FPS improvement. :)

Yeah, I agree completely. Balota is very popular now, but that's because the majority people spawn on the coast and so it's a fast way to get decent gear.

This will probably already be known by Rocket and the development team and they'll alter it as they go along to see what works best.

All ideas sound good. I'd like to see them all implemented, especially the blood bag point I definitely agree with that.

I'm pretty sure you can load the bullets straight in, not sure if it fits in the chest holster but I presume it can, if it can't it will be able to at some point in the near future probably.

I believe so. Damn, unlucky, I've just found two in the space of around 5 minutes, in the upstairs part of the "jail" type buildings in Balota. Could of kept it in like a bag until you'd found one?;o I'm hoping to find some soon but I'll probably die before that.

Well what you've done so far is basically the outline of what you can do at the moment. When the game is more developed there will be more for you to do. A large part of DayZ is exploring the map, collecting gear, encountering friendlies and bandits and surviving. The game will become a lot more fun when vehicles, more weapons/clothing are implemented etc.

Omw to find some atm. I've just used up my last drink and can so it should last me until I find some more. :p
