This is the same lag as I am getting. I think it has something to do with the HDD. Seems like texture loading etc. Can anyone confirm? I'd like to buy an SSD if that would help.

Hi guys im thinking of getting a 500gb ssd to install my os and dayz on. I think my hdd is causing the game to stutter when i enter a big city, loading textures etc. And with stutter i dont mean overal fps. Can someone tell if its worth it yes or no?

Well there are quite a few people that say the performance increased alot when they switched to an SSD. Id like to see those people reply here :D If its not worth it, ill just keep my HDD and wait till the game is released to see if its optimised by then.

Can get it for 150 euros, its alot of money. Once everything is loaded the fps is somewhat ok. Any ppl here with experience from switching to ssd for this game?

I have the same problem, the game is almost unplayable in big cities. While running through the wilderness or a small city is somewhat ok-ish.

Dude, you can find a gun and ammo on every airfield... I only searched towns to look for ammo, to make the game a bit more challenging, and didnt find anything. I think every house needs to have a change of spawning good loot, and yes with good loot I mean guns/ammo mostly, because thats all I really need beside food and drink.

The game is glitchy as fuck. But its alpha, so stop bitching and wait till de game is finished or deal with it.

I cant even find ammo atm been searching for some hours lol. They should let every building have a possible change of spawning a gun or ammo, because, why should I enter those ''normall'' houses if there aint good loot in them? Why do we need to go to an airfield to get a gun?
